We had recently moved here and they came highly recommended. We had to have our house completely rewired. We were quoted a price to have our entire house - including some outer buildings - rewired. This house is very old. After days of intermittent appearances, I believe they were just tired of coming here. The final day, they announced they were finished and then they were gone. There were a number of places not touched at all, some my husband fixed himself, old light covers removed and can't replace (we have run into the Ford brothers and mentioned this to them on many occasions, only to be told, ""we'll send them back to take care of it"" but that never happened), new outlets and covers we paid for found in the garbage, and we assumed they had gotten permits but we never heard from the city.

We would never recommend them to anyone. They did the work about four years ago, but it still leaves a bad taste in our mouths how we were treated. We are now hiring another company for the work left unfinished by Ford's. I wish we had checked reviews first before hiring them.

Make the mistake of paying in full before work was completed. Bought into you can trust me. Ford would not come back and find out why attic light would not come on. In fact, told me never to call again. It was not his problem. Light worked before they installed new service. Mr. Ford seemed to question my truthfulness on light working before. If witnesses are necessary, I have them. There were some other problems that they did come back and fix. What we found was a hot and neutral twisted together which caused breaker to trip when we try to turn on attic light.

If you use them make sure you keep some retainage. I would suggest 20%.

Sad thing is that I had more work for them.
