Took my call for an emergency with my smoke alarms on a Sunday night and promptly replaced them on Monday morning. Couldn't ask for better service.

Foltz Electric is the one to call for your electric needs.
I needed my new pool pump installed 14 years ago. He ran a new line from the house and completed the work in the time promised.
Work was done efficient and professional.
The same pump needed replacing 10 years later and he replaced quickly and efficiently.
Recently I had a timer installed. Foltz Electric is dependable, honest and reliable. I'll call him for all my electrical needs and highly recommend him.

Just don't do it. This guy is a total jabroni.

A few weeks ago, I went to turn on the ceiling fan in my office. After staying on for a couple of seconds, the fan turned off in a way that made it feel like the breaker had tripped.

I did the usual check of the electrical panel for a tripped breaker with no success and once I realized that power to the entire area of the house was out, I put in a service request for an electrician with my home warranty company.

The next morning, I received a notification that Todd from Foltz Electric was assigned to my request and would be contacting me ASAP.

This is where things started to go South and where I wish I would have listened to the negative reviews on this ""electrician"". Live and learn I guess.

From here, it was a bunch of back and forth to try and get this guy to commit to an appointment with little success. He doesn't answer calls at all and when you text him, you get a one or two-word response a day or two later that doesn't help to set an appointment.

After canceling a previous appointment on the day of due to who knows what and more back and forth, I finally get him to schedule another appointment almost a week after my initial service request.

When Todd from Foltz Electric finally arrives, the first words out of his stupid mouth are, ""It's a mobile home? If I would have known that, I would have never have agreed to come out.""

Fine. You're free to refuse any job you want. I didn't know that would be a problem nor did my home warranty company evidently. There are literally dozens of great electricians in the North Texas area so I can find a new one no problem.

He then says that he guesses that he take a look but if the problem requires him to go into the crawl space, he's not going to do it. Ugh.

Images of a whiny teenage turd are already going through my mind but as he started to ask me a few questions about the electrical problem and location of the panel, I start to think that the ""electrician"" was actually going to try and help.

Nope.

I invited him inside to take a look since the panel was just inside the doorway where we were speaking but he just turned around, mumbled something about not wanting to go inside, got in his truck, and left.

Despite this guy being a total waste of time, I just watched him leave while laughing at what an unprofessional child he is.

The downside is that he wasted a few weeks of my time, and I still have an area of the house that doesn't have power since the home warranty company now has to ""investigate what happened"" before assigning a new electrical contractor.

Foltz Electric sucks. Just don't do it.

This guy, Todd, was contracted by American Home Shield to come out and do repairs on our home; we live out in the country in a double wide mobile home. After 2 weeks we finally got an appointment for him to come out to do some repairs. When he got here his first words were "" I don't crawl under mobile homes to do repairs"" not a Hello or how are you today! I told him that wasn't necessary but we did have some issues with some breakers. After showing him the issues, his response was "" I'll have to call AHS and cancel this work order; I don't work on mobile homes."" This guy is afraid to do any real work and is in it for the quick buck! Buyer beware! I would NEVER recommend him to anyone for repairs or work!
