Run! Don't walk! This contractor seemed nice, bid the work, took our $3000 deposit and then when the permit was denied refused to answer my phone calls, e-mails, or texts. Clearly not wanting to give back our money and never did. Stay away from this guy Mike Farver!

I have utilized FPEC on several occasions. The first time I had a new garage built and they ran the electricity from the main ""box?"" out to the new garage with a sub panel and hit every one of my requests (plug here, plug there, lights here, lights there). Each time the actual owner ""Mike"" who is a Master Electrician came out to evaluate the issue. I like that he's not sending out any old estimator - he is still hands on!

I used them again about a year later to add some more sockets in my garage attic. I didn't know I needed them until I'd worked in there for a while - well since they had planned ahead and put a great sub panel in the garage it was super easy and less expensive to run the new circuit for the new plugs in the walk through attic - Boom, in and out.

The third time I used them was due to a circuit popping on my main panel (this work had been done prior to my purchase of the home). When they came out they found that the previous contractor had co-mingled new wire and old wire - there were floating grounds in the home and all kinds of other issues. But with all of this they took care of it.

These are all matters of fact - now for a matter belief - I truly believe they care as they took time to talk to me about the problem and didn't try to make me feel dumb because I didn't know what a ""floating ground"" was. We talked about the problems - they showed me the problems ( I really liked that) and then we discussed the possible solutions. I hate it when someone /anyone says Hey here's your problem, I can't see it but I'm just supposed to trust them - they actually showed me!

I hope I don't have to call an electrician again, but if I do I know it will be Florida Power Electrical Contractors.
