Five or Free came up in my search, and they were very responsive, sending out Job to give me a free quote for the work required. He found all of the issues the inspector had written up in our report, plus an additional issue with wiring in the garage, and gave us a quote for each individual piece of the puzzle. One of the main problems we had on our to-do list was grounding all of the interior outlets, and he actually found and grounded the upstairs circuit for free during his first visit!
During both the initial quote and on the day the work was performed, Job was thorough, professional, and got the job done in a reasonable amount of time. He made sure he answered all our questions before he was done, and showed us some of the damage he repaired and replaced (our stove was apparently wired up with a dryer plug and socket--gotta love those DIY folks, eh?). My husband and I are extremely happy with his work, and with the 17-year warranty! I will definitely be recommending this company, and Job in particular, to any friends who need electrical work done in Sacramento or surrounding areas.

Timothy D.Can't comment on the quality of their electrical work but can comment on their prices. Had someone from their company come out and do an inspection for me. They did a very thorough job;however, the prices they quoted me for the work were astronomical. $800 to get a permit! I ultimately had the work done by another electrical company and they did all the work I needed for 4-5x cheaper than I was quoted by Five or Free (including the permit for $160). Highly recommend shopping around for prices before going with this company.

Thao N.I hired Five or Free Electrical Solutions to repair and replace my front yard electrical outlet so I can mow my lawn with electric lawn mower. It cost me $175 to replace the outlet, I guess including service call fee, labor expense, and part. Change another one up the wall would have cost me another $175. Told me I have 17-year warranty. Hopefully, the company will still be in business 5 to 10 years from now.
