The Struggle Is Real!

A quick review of the other critical reviews shows that Julio is either unorganized or he cannot use the
Request a Quote portion of the Yelp app very well. Either way, I cleared my calendar to meet him at 2 pm and he did not show up. I texted him via the app at 2:15 pm to get an idea about when he would arrive, but I did not hear back from him until 4:40 pm, when he informed me that he took another job because he did not have my address, which I had given him when he had asked for it, and thanked me for giving it, four days prior. He then offered to meet me the next day in the afternoon, but given that he blew off our first appointment without any communication, and was not about to be fooled a second time. He may do wonderful work, but it is hard to work with someone who does not communicate with you when his timing changes.

Julio installed a NEMA outlet for me in the garage. He gave me a reasonable price and was flexible enough to also fix another couple of outlets while he was out. Other electricians who came out greatly exaggerated the work necessary to install the Tesla charger. I like that Julio kept it simple and suggested an alternative that resulted in exactly what I wanted while keeping the project scope small.

I had a confirmed appt with Julio, gave him directions and everything and he failed to show up. He didn't even bother to cancel. I ended up calling him 20 mins after our agreed to meet time and he had taken another job! It's very frustrating and so very unprofessional that he didn't even call to cancel. Julio is not dependable, and I would not recommend him.

Julio is such a hard worker and we are so fortunate to have found him on Yelp. He scheduled a free estimate and was very fair with pricing. He was eager to get the job started and made sure that everything was perfect, before accepting payment. The job ended up being more challenging than expected, but Julio returned an additional day and completed the job. We will use him for any future electrical work.

First M and B Electrical did a upgrade on the electrical in our house. He installed a new junction box, added outlets, switches, closet light, outdoor outlet and new security light. Julio was very thorough and professional. He responded right away. He gave an estimate in a timely manner. He worked diligently until the job was done. He is reliable and on time. He replaced the drywall and repainted all areas that he had to access. He identified an unsafe wiring situation done by the previous owner and fixed that, too. His rates are competitive and reasonable. He is bilingual in Spanish/English. Julio is friendly, polite, and explains what he needs to do. We will definitely use First M and B Electrical in the future.

These guys hit the three P's for me: prompt, polite and precise! We had a few outlets installed and really appreciated the great work done by the team. We received a competitive quote and a fast turnaround time on the scheduling.

We had a couple of outlets installed in our outdoor kitchen space and a couple around our the perimeter of our house. They also took the time to cut down a pipe for us to help with aesthetics in the backyard.

Their work was greatly appreciated and we will refer them to friends and family. We will definitely use them for future work. Funny thing is that we are still waiting for quotes from a couple of the vendors we had over. Too bad their quotes will come in after these guys did their excellent work. Thanks again!
