This is one of the best experiences I have had with service call. Sal was prompt, polite, and explained everything he was doing. To top it off this company is honest and fair. Again this is rare these days. I trust Firefly to the utmost. I hit the trifecta with choosing Firefly electric. I would recommend them to anyone needing electrical work done. I would challenge anyone to find someone better. The value of their service is off the charts.

Highly recommend Firefly Electric Service. John came out to look at my service panel and some other electrical work I needed done. He explained everything thoroughly, gave his honest opinion on things and some tips that could save me some money. I also appreciated the quick responses scheduling the appointment from Ali and the communication when the technician was in route. 10/10 would recommend.

I had Firefly electric to my house to correct an electrical write up that I had during a home inspection (I am selling). Upon arrival, Phillip was very friendly and professional. He pointed out to me that there was not actually an electrical issue, but rather the panel was mislabeled. He corrected the labels, wrote me a detailed report to satisfy the buyer of the home, and here is the best part...he didn't charge me for anything! We need more companies like this. I 100% recommend Firefly electric to anyone in need of electric assistance in the San Antonio area. Great job Firefly, you guys rock!

I was recommend Firefly Electric from a friend and I am forever grateful for such an awesome recommendation!!
I had an issue with a 3 phase non fused disconnect to my AC that was completely fried. I reached out to Firefly and the owner contacted me straight away, went to my business on a Saturday morning. By Monday at 10am they had come out to Boerne, done all the repairs and clean up and we were back up and running. What life savers!! They were more than willing to complete over the weekend, but I opted to wait until Monday morning. If you are looking for after hours work they are probably available.
I don't normally do these reviews but felt that this company and the owners go above and beyond!! The guys that came out were polite, respectful and efficiently fast.

My 1972 house suddenly lost power to the living room lights and an electrical outlet for no apparent reason. Andrew came out and spent four hours trying to find the problem. When it wasn't any of the obvious issues it became clear that the job needed more than one person to tackle. Andrew made sure everything was safe so that accidentally flipping a switch or using other electric on the same circuit would not cause a problem. He came back with Josh and Jeremy and the three of them were completely awesome, digging through 50 years worth of electric hacks that had created a major safety hazard along with non functioning and poor functioning lights. They worked so hard, like a team of electric sleuths to find and fix the problem when I know it would have been faster and more lucrative for them to just say I needed to have the whole area re-wired.
Additionally, all of the guys were clean cut, professional, knowledgeable, and honest. I will definitely be hiring Firefly Electric for my upcoming major home electric overhaul (which I was already planning, the guys just confirmed my research when I asked them about it, they didn't try to sell me on anything or suggest any upgrades that I did not bring up myself. )
Probably the first business I've worked with since buying my house that impressed me and that I would use again for service!

Four days after my hip replacement our water heater stopped working. We called our plumber and he couldn't find anything wrong with the coils, so the next morning I called a number of electricians, many weren't even available until the next week. I then called FireFly Electric, I told them the same situation we were in and they made it a priority. FireFly dispatched one of their supervisors to our house and found that our 30 Amp breaker had failed. I'm a curious person and enjoy learning and FireFly was very accommodating in educating exactly why and how the component had failed and what the current building code encompass and what was in place at the time of our construction. He also told us about whole home surge protection which is something I'd been looking at.

He was able to replace the failed breaker immediately and put our water back in service, showers and clean dishes for all. I would highly recommend FireFly, prices are competitive and as a company they actually listen to their customers.

You could NOT find a better, more competent and honest company.. I'm so happy there was a cancellation and I was called sooner. The issue was my smoke alarm, which would shrill randomly in the middle of the night and sometimes during the day. Mr. Sal replaced all 5 alarms with lithium batteries and hardwired them. Now I'm able to sleep at night. He was very generous with his pricing. I would recommend his company, Firefly, to anyone in need of electrical services.
