Ferris Electric was independently recommended by 2 different friends and now I know why. Hiring them was a really great experience from start to finish. Anita was a delight on the phone and was able to send Ryan out the day after I called.

Ryan did a very thorough job of identifying the problem and then fixing it in far less time than anticipated. He did a fantastic job and left everything even neater than when he arrived!

Mark Ferris has been our Electrician now for 20 years. I think it's about time to give him the props he deserves with this 5-star review.

On Saturday, June 23, we had a major blackout that wiped out our water (we're on well) as well as electrical power. It was about 100 degrees that day and I foolishly turned on the a/c. But for various reasons, our house was the only one on the road that was dark.

Our generator went on and wouldn't stop and when we went out to check it, the control box was SMOKING!!! We were finally able to turn off the generator after 3 1/2 hours but a lot of the wires were melted in the box. In the house and outside we had 30% power here, 100% power there -- the microwave didn't work, the fridge (thank God) did; hallways were dark, one bedroom had light, two didn't -- weird.

We called PG&E and they came out within a half-hour (about 8:30 PM). They couldn't do much to help the situation, but Pat, the guy working on the problem, asked who our electrician was. When we told him Mark Ferris, he said, ""Great! He's one of the best in not only Petaluma but in Sonoma County. He'll come out to help you, even on a Sunday.""

We called, and as his wife Anita promised, Mark came out after church the next morning and he rescued our ass!!!

The 19th Century was an interesting place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. Besides, my mother didn't raise me to be a pioneer.

Thanks to Mark Ferris, we are living the dream in 21st Century Petaluma. We can't recommend him highly enough.

After buying an old house in Petaluma we hired Ferris Electric to rewire the entire house from knob and tube. They did a fantastic job and Mark was always responsive to our requests. Ferris Electric went above and beyond the level and quality of work that we expected. Great work and not intrusive. Glad that they got recommended to us.

Let me start by saying that I'm the kind of guy who doesn't let The Babe in the HoF on the first ballot, and no one gets a 10 in the Olympics, from me.

I was rebuilding the inside of my home and there was rewiring to do. Mark Ferris was recommended. Great choice.

Actually, Mark's son (wonderful young man) and another fellow did the work. They were clean, fast, and professional. Did exactly what I asked for, and the charges were quite appropriate.

Let me say that some of the wiring was janky and had to be re-worked. NO problem! If you want to hire professionals that do it right, here's your guys.

These guys are great! They are fairly priced, responsive, and just plain nice. Mark has been in the business for many years, and I appreciate that it is a family business. His crew works quickly and accurately and I couldn't recommend them enough. I've had them do work at my office as well as my home. They've done both complicated and basic types of electrical work and I've been happy with everything they've done.

Mark Ferris, Toby and Team are fantastic! They did the electric work for our home remodel over a year ago. Not only were they nice to work with but they did a great job to boot. Toby just came over to install a new ceiling fan.. he wasn't here an hour! I love these guys and will continue to use them for all of my electric needs.
