We have a contract with another company that came for our summer checkup. A/C was working when they came, but quit within 3 hours after they left. They told us we needed a coil. Ordered it, but it is on backorder. They left us without A/C for 8 days. Called Fast of Florida.....Joe came out on Saturday morning and traced the issue to a broken electrical wire. Replaced it and we have A/C! Other company did not even check that. Will cancel that contract and use Fast of Florida from now on. Courteous customer service person and Joe was awesome he worked until he found the issue and repaired it efficiently. Great Job!! Thank you Fast of Florida and Joe.

Fast Plumbing came to my unit in a 26 high rise in downtown Clearwater. I called them they had installed a LeakSmart system in each of our 153 units so I thought they knew our units and were familiar with our building. All I needed was some toilet inside parts replaced. They charged $522 for less than a hours work and less than $30 in parts. When questioned they said ""plumbing costs have gone up"". Two weeks later I called Clearwater Plumbing to replace my 3/4 hp garbage disposal. Their price for installation including the garbage disposal was $379. I asked the Clearwater Plumbing plumber how much they would normally charge to install the toilet parts and he said likely around $260. He did not know the ridiculous rip off price from Fast. Use Clearwater Plumbing!

We called them out to replace some switches and provide an estimate to do larger items. I paid the trip fee of $89, and then the electrician said he was too busy to complete any work at that time and left.
It has been 20days, company has not sent an estimate, even though we paid for one. Called to get an answer and was given the run-around. Still no call back, estimate or refund.
I would not recommend this company and will be filing a complaint with the BBB.

I was contacted by the owner after this review went up. He apologized and acknowledged the company's growing pains and informed me that they made some staffing changes for the better. He offered to refund me the amount owed OR a complimentary 1 year service contract with the hopes of winning my business back. I appreciated him reaching out and was grateful for the gesture so I took him up on his offer to start fresh. He informed me his office would be in touch with the service contract. Time went by and I never heard a thing. As a courtesy I let the owner know. He had nothing to comment. Sad.

I've used FAST of Florida in the past and all-in-all have had good experiences with them, but today's was GREAT!
I had bought a ceiling fan at Lowes about two weeks ago and it had been sitting in a box waiting for me to install it. Then I received an email offer from FAST that they would install a ceiling fan for $21.00.
How could I pass that up? I had never installed one. I felt I could, but figured it would take some amount of time and effort and here was a qualified company offering to do it for $21. Can't pass that up so called, and scheduled the work to be done.
Amazing - they were able to come within two days of my phone call. That really surprised me given how hard it has been to find contractors of any type lately. So, today was install day.
The installer arrived - he was dressed professionally, and well kept. He got to work immediately and installed the unit. He did a great job and was very friendly. Watching him, it was easy to see that I made the right decision - to have FAST install the unit rather than me do it.
Well done! Highly recommend.

I had a great experience with them. I'd just had a bad experience with another company and this company's customer service and responsiveness was a breath of fresh air. Both the techs and the office staff were great and really worked hard to make things go right. They installed a new AC. Thank you!

Previous owners of my house had an air conditioner installed onto the existing 28 year old duct work. I bought the house 5 years later. They previously had rodent problems and had insulation blown in 2 times to hide the problem and I didn't know it. I discovered I had rats and the insulation and duct work was disturbed by the trapping company. My whole house inside and out smelled musty and of rats! It was absolutely miserable living here and it made me sick. Hector at Fast gave me a quote to replace the duct work. They were told of the urgency of the situation and I put down more than half of the down payment. Fast quit in the middle of the job without even informing me or closing up the ducts they had done. And they kept all of my money. It was difficult to get another company to finish the duct work because part of it was done. I lived in a house that stunk of rats and made me sick for almost 3 months because of their negligence! Then Fast called me for the balance of doing a job they didn't even complete. I spoke to manager Charlie Creech and he offered no explanation, and no apologies. Mr. Creech treated me with total disregard and with no respect. Adding insult to injury Mr. Creech promised a partial refund and didn't send in the paperwork to the corporate office. It took me 2 months, 2 e-mails, and 6 phone calls to get a partial refund from Fast.

They came to my house on 2/31/2021 to replace a leaking Solar Water Storage Tank. SIX (6) weeks later they showed up with a tank. As they were working on it, I asked the field supervisor if they were licensed to do SOLAR work. He said yes. I also asked if they knew how to install this type of tank. He said yes. The plumber did not finish the job of switching the tank and said he would be back the next day. He arrived and finished up the job. THEN, he filled the roof panel supply with straight water - NO ANTIFREEZE. The weather called for a possible freeze, which would have destroyed the collector on the roof. I asked him if he had ever installed this type of system. He said no and that he just arrived from N.Y. and they do not have these systems up there. He, nor the supervisor knew knew nothing about Indirect Water-Heating Systems (REQUIRED IN MARION COUNTY). I told him that this system requires an ANTIFREEZE FLUID and that he cannot leave the water in the collector. He said OK, CUT THE LINE and drained it into my garage and left. Leaving 1/2"" of water on my floor! I called the supervisor and told him what he had done and that I did not want that man back in my house. No one at Patrick's seemed concerned about what he had done. The next day, the supervisor, 3 others and the plumber I did not want back were here. The N.Y. plumber repaired the line as the others sat outside reading the instructions for the tank. Again I asked the supervisor about being licensed to install SOLAR. This time he told me no. Somehow they figured they had the WRONG tank and it had to be replaced because they ordered the wrong tank. So, they ordered another tank. Another week went by and the 2nd tank arrived. They installed it and then realized it was the exact same tank they removed. So, off they go again for a few more weeks. They finally returned with the same model of tank I originally had. This they installed (a different plumber did the job). Once done, they realized they did not order the switch that activated the pump to circulate the ANTIFREEZE through the tank. All this time (since 12/31/2020) I was using electricity to heat our water and I let him know I have been paying for hot water. So, he plugged the pump directly into an outlet so the collector would heat the water. I turned off the breaker. About 2 weeks later (no switch yet), I heard a loud whine in the garage. The pump had been running 24/7 for a couple of weeks. This was about 8:30pm, Sun had been down about 1.5 hours. The pump was locked up and touching it burned my hand. This pump is NOT a continuous duty device. Again, I called the office. They had no idea it needed the switch. NO ONE TOLD THE OFFICE. I was also told they would replace the pump (Carmine, the office manager, told me he would). I turned the breaker back on in order to have hot water. Another 4 weeks came and went without a switch. I called and was told they were waiting for it to come in. Another 4 weeks went by, I called again and suggested they buy one retail. A week later, a different plumber showed up and installed the switch. I had to tell him that the timer on the tank had to be set so the pump did not circulate water all night and turn our hot water into cold water. He said he would talk to the manager about replacing the pump. He told me that it was always replaced when the tank was replaced. This has taken 4 months. YES, 4 MONTHS! So, after another week, I called the office. Carmine, the manager refuses to talk to me and will not authorize the ladies to pass on any information to me. Finally, after 3 weeks of calling, he said he was not going to replace the pump. The impeller locked up - IT IS GOING TO SEIZE AGAIN. I also wanted to know when the GUARANTEE went into effect and that I was not 100% satisfied with the job and wanted the refund they advertise. It has been another 2 weeks and NO CALL from them. 05/17/2021
They also replaced all of my COPPER PIPE with cheap plastic pipe and DID NOT INSULATE THE PLASTIC PIPES. THIS IS A SOLAR HOT WATER SYSTEM!!!
AND, let's not forget, the supervisor that wrote on my quote that the tank was guaranteed for ten years was a typo! He said it is only good for 6 years. We can settle that in court...
