We had a Tesla Wall Charger installed by Faraday Electric. The quotes and the initial conversations were very professional. The plans were drawn and well explained.

The installation of the charger went very poorly. First off, they installed the weaker voltage cable. This mistake happened because Faraday gave the contractor an older install plan, even though 2 days prior they upsold me to pay $200 extra to get the higher voltage cable. They did not reimburse me for this.

Second and most important issue, they screwed up electrical across my house. The plan installed a subpanel to support the new charger, but after installation my lights across the house flickered whenever any appliances were turned on (e.g. blender in kitchen would cause lights flicker in dining room and kitchen). I informed them of this problem and they attempted to fix it across 2 separate days and failed. At one point, the contractor stated, The light was flickering on this outlet, and now it's not flickering so the problem is solved. The issue is he moved the problem to other outlets. Now when I use garbage disposal, laundry, oven and a few more appliances, lights flicker in my house. Even one of my garage outlet is not functional. The contractor made the flickering problem worse and insisted on payments. What's worse, even the Tesla Wall charger usage causes lights to flicker across my house (This did not happen in the initial install, and started happening after their multiple attempts).

Faraday will install it, but they will not care if they screw your electrical system in the process. I am stuck with the problems they caused and will have to hire electricians to redo my whole electrical panel.

If u need an EV Charger installed at ur home, I would highly recommend Faraday Electric. Joe and JJ were hard working , knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. They were on time and stayed till the work got done.

Lack of communication on the permit process of the EV charger while the permit fee of $480 was paid upfront when the ev charger was installed. I won't recommend this company if you wish to get a city permit.

Super satisfied with the communication and transparency throughout the process. Went back and forth a few times via msg before the onsite. Both Melissa (via msg) and Jairo (on site) were top notch. Got exactly what I wanted despite some setbacks and minor issues we were not prepared for. Jairo especially went above and beyond. Would highly recommend Faraday Electric for an EV charger installation done the way you want it.

The wall charger installation went ok, but they didn't do exactly what was quoted. Also, I paid for the permit but have not received it after more than a month since the installation. After sending 3 follow-up emails, I have yet to receive a response. The overall experience is not great. I would certainly not recommend them to my friends and family. The only reason why I gave them the business was because their name was given by Tesla when I purchased the wall charger.

We made an appointment a month ago to remove our tesla charger for a time sensitive move out. They TEXTED this morning, a day before our appointment, that they were now unable to remove our charger.

They picked up our call, gave us a minimal apology, and offered no alternatives. We are very understanding regarding emergencies that may come up, but they really did put us in an inconvenient situation. We would have also asked this company to install at our next location since our first experience went well and they were highly rated a year ago.

We are going to rate one star and say this company is unreliable. Good luck to you all.

We had Tesla Wall Connector installed by Faraday within few days of requesting a free estimate. Their estimate was competitive and their easy-to-understand explanation of what we needed and why sold us to choose them over others.
We have 100A service and needed energy management system (SLC) to be tandem with our range. They were came out and installed it within few hours by one person. We requested it to be installed next to sub-panel as it was already in the garage, but we didn't expect it to be so quick. They also pulled a permit for us and took care of that. No issue what-so-ever and it passed the inspection within 10min. Great job by Faraday team and thank you so much!!

I had Faraday install an in-home charger for the Tesla. They provided an online estimate, were prompt, and when I decided to change the location of the installation they completely accommodated, provided an updated coast and had the installation done in just a few hours. Very professional and good service.

A+++ for Faraday Electric! I recently reached out to several electricians to get a quote to get a Tesla Wall Connector installed on our driveway. I found these companies via the Tesla website. Some companies never called me back and others took several days to give me a quote. Donald from Faraday Electric answered the phone right away and asked me to text him some pictures of the house and the electrical panel. From there, he sent me a very detailed quote with the scope of work all outlined in a PDF within an hour of speaking on the phone. On top of that, he called me to follow up on his quote and told me they could send someone out the next business day to get it installed! I didn't agree right away because (1) my Tesla wall connector was still being shipped and (2) I wanted to hear back from some other electricians to compare pricing. After informing him of this, he said they could still send someone tomorrow to do all the prep work first (~45 min) and then they would send someone out again once the wall connector arrived (~15 min). He also said if I agreed to move forward with the appointment, they could reduce the quote by $100. This was enough to push me over the edge to schedule the next day appointment.

The next day, Kevin, the electrician, came on time and started getting to work! Luckily, while he was at the house, UPS delivered my wall connector so he was able to get it all done right then and there! He completed the whole job in about an hour. I am just so impressed with how Faraday got everything done so quickly. I opted to pay more for them to get a permit for me through the city. So now I am just waiting for that to get done. They said it takes anywhere from 6-8 weeks to get the permit. For now, I highly recommend this company to get an EV charger installed! They are reasonably priced, VERY responsive, and do a great job! What more could you want?!

Erick from Faraday contacted me requesting pictures via messages. In addition, he provided sample pictures to give me an idea of what he was looking for. After I sent him the requested pictures, I never received any further communication from him. He did not respond to any of my follow-up messages. How he acted looks like a scam.
