It took me two years to convince myself to do this, since these people know where I live, was scared. I am not scared anymore. I am tired of spending all of that money and still dealing with issues.

Two years ago I was remodeling my new house and brought Far West Electric (Noah the owner) for evaluation and pricing. He gave me the best pricing comparing to the other two companies that i asked for estimate.
I hired him and one week in, he change the price and adds another $2000, ten days later adds another $1000. I end up paying him around $7500 or more and still having problem with my electric job. Besides the false evaluation to get my job, he would not show up at the job and I had to call him and beg him to come since other people's work depended on his project. I will never use him again and this is what are the main issues that I share with you.

1- while he was working at my house my circuit breaker was on fire, almost burned my house and when I told him, he said the breaker needs to be changed which would have been another 3-4 thousands dollars. Since I couldn't afford it tried to bring a new provider to give me a quote. the new electrician found some loose wires on the attic around my bedroom that were causing the fire and he had to redo them otherwise my house could be on fire. ( Noah told me that he changes peoples breakers all the time, In my opinion false diagnosis to make extra money, at least in my case since my breaker is working fine).

2- The wires on my attic were sitting lose without the protective box (told by many providers) and I had to hire a new electrician and pay $1200 to fix the job that he was supposed to do at the first place. They told me that lose wires can cause fire because of the heat and if the house would have burned, the insurance companies won't cover the losses because of the many loose wires sitting on the attic without a cap.

3- The fan and 7 lights in my living room are connected to same switch. That means at 2 pm when is hot if I want my fan to be on, i have to have 7 lights on. I hate to waste the energy. He short cut everything to save himself money and put me in this situation.

4- There are many switches that are not connected to nothing, there are bunch of switches in one of the bedroom that none of them work for the fan or light in the room.

5- He charged me another $800 to lay down some wires for my speakers that were not ever connected. If you don't know something, he won't educate you. He uses your lack of knowledge and get your money and still don't finish the project and you end of paying a lot more than what the most expensive estimate that someone else has given you.

I am very unhappy with the service that he didn't provide for all of that extra money that he got from me. When I received an evaluation form from their company, I responded and told them how unhappy I am and no one responded to me. I believe he doesn't care for his customer only MONEY $$$$.

Noah and crew rewired and installed the electrical service in our master bath remodel starting at the rough-in stage. Noah even installed power-efficient LED lights and color-changing LED tape in the soffits and under the cabinet base. They returned to complete the project during the finishing stage. They were professional, courteous and fast. They price was fair for this type of project. Excellent job.
