Jessica and Marcos! It just doesn't get any better than their inherent natural desire to help and serve, and they do so with such grace that, quite frankly, is almost non-existent today. I also believe it is a fundamental commitment of the Fan Diego business model based on a previous experience I had when I bought a ceiling fan for my previous condo from Home Depot,had it installed and ultimately had to return it. Thank goodness someone told me about Fan Diego, I went there, bought my fan and 20 years later when I sold the condo, it is still there, still beautiful, still working flawlessly. We recently bought a home in Fire Mountain and needed a number of ceiling fans, so we immediately and without a doubt went to the Fan Diego Store in San Marcos, met Jessica, the manager of the store, who is such a stellar role model of customer service excellence; she was so kind, so helpful, asked great questions about the different rooms we needed the fans for and actually walked with us throughout the store to discuss various attributes of the ones we liked, etc. We ended up buying three fans. Since we already had an excellent contractor working on other projects in the house, he installed the fans, did a good job, but one of the fans is a very contemporary model and started wobbling. After my contractor tried to balance the fan which did not work, I called Fan Diego back, talked with Jessica and before I was half way through my problem, she said - do not worry about it, we will get it fixed! I will have my installer, Marcos call you, make an appointment and come out and resolve it. And he did!! And they would not even let me pay for a service call even though they did not do the original install It works perfectly, we love all our fans, need to go back and get an additional fan for another room, and of course there is no other place we would ever go but to see Jessica at San Marcos Fan Diego Store and will have Marcos, her expert installer, install it. I am only taking the time to write so much because I just still am so grateful for how wonderful and kind they both were. I firmly believe leadership starts at the top, sets the standard, and instills that model in their team, and Jessica and Marcos are one heck of a pair. It just doesn't get any better. Heartfelt gratitude to both of them!

15 years ago, I bought 5 ceiling fans from Fan Diego. A couple of months ago, I hired an electrician to install a new remote on one of those fans. I asked him about the noise my fan was making and he suggesting simply buying new fans. I can pick them up for a couple of hundred dollars at Home Depot. I needed two new fans.

Today I went to Fan Diego to buy new fans. Jessica helped me and looked up my account. The same fan (newer model) would cost me almost $700. BUT, Jessica tells me, the motors on the fans I have are guaranteed for life. It sounds like the problem is simply a fan belt which costs around $30. Plus having someone install it, if I can't do it myself.

I ask Jessica about other issues I'm having with the fans (both fans only respond to one of my remote controls) which she explains the electrician I hired didn't set up the new remote properly. She recommends a local electrician who KNOWS how to install and service Emerson fans (the ones I have purchased).

Jessica could have easily made a $1500 sale today, as I entered the store expecting to purchase two new ceiling fans, but she took the high road and helped me save money and the environment (I HATE throwing things away that can be fixed). I will ALWAYS go to FanDiego.

The customer service from these people is spectacular. The fan I wanted was back ordered for 4 weeks, but I was OK with that. What wasn't OK was that after the fan arrived at the warehouse it was shelved for a QC check, and it wouldn't be tested for 4 more weeks. Then the heatwave hit, and things around here started melting. My sales rep, Marco, got on the phone and got those warehouse QC people to hustle things along. Because of him I got my fan two days later. Way to go Marco!

My husband and I have been talking about putting ceiling fans throughout our house for almost 6 years and recently found the time to do it (there's been some benefit to being quarantined). It's easy to get overwhelmed when you walk into the store because of their vast selection, but Marcos helped us through the process. We gave him the dimensions of the house and he helped us select what he thought were the best items based on our needs (energy efficient, simple style, light dimmer). He made the selection and checkout process such a breeze. He also recommended someone to install the lights. From the time we walked into the store to the time the fans were installed, it was less than a couple of weeks.

I don't write reviews but really wanted to acknowledge Marcos. He's a really cool guy, didn't oversell & knew his inventory.

I developed a problem with a ceiling fan I had purchased from Fan Diego, San Marcos. The manufacturer's tech support determined that I need a new receiver in the fan motor so it would respond to the remote.
Jessica at Fan Diego looked up my purchase records and found that the purchase had been made 1 year and 2 weeks prior and the manufacturer's warranty is 1 year! She still allowed me to exchange the motor at no additional cost to me. She was very responsive and supportive both on the phone and in person, when I exchanged the unit.
We had gotten similar service from the entire staff a year ago when we bought the fan.

I am VERY happy with this store. We purchased three high-end (and one very large fan) from them. There was a mix up in the order which we only discovered after the fans were installed! The mix up was somewhere between me, my wife and the completion of the order over the phone as opposed to still being in the store. Instead of placing blame, they reordered fans, delivered them to our house, paid the installer to install the new fans and took the original fans back with no restocking fee. This is over the top service. Much appreciate the timely and excellent follow-up and the initiative on their part to do this on their own without us asking for any concessions on their part. What a wonderful world this would be if all businesses treated their customers in this way!
