Jerry and his team recently installed our new central AC system. We had gotten quotes from Family Air as well as from 2 other very highly rated AC installation companies. Family Air was the least expensive of the three. Another thing that recommended Family Air to me was the fact that Jerry was very open and responsive to e-mail communication (great for me since I hate talking on the phone!). I asked him a ton of questions and we e-mailed back and forth trying to find the unit that was the best fit for our family. Family Air had great financing available as well. Jerry was very good about coordinating with us to find a time that worked for everyone and then even sped up the project, finishing up the drywall repair a day early, to accommodate our need to get back in our house. I feel very confident that if we do have any issues with the AC in the future that we will have no problem getting them resolved in a timely manner. Highly recommend!!

I have been with Family Air for over 37 years and they have installed multiple different units in various houses. Everyone I have recommended Family Air to, is extremely pleased with their work. They have the best prices, and the best customer service. Family Air is punctual, honest, and explains well what they recommend and why. All their work is noted in their contract and easy to understand. They call a few days in advance to confirm appointment time so there is no misunderstanding. Lee is really great in explaining what he was doing and why...and explained how the air conditioning and heating units worked. At the end of May Family Air installed our Carrier air conditioner and new heater along with all new duct work they did a very clean and thorough job. We are very happy with the price compared to some of the other estimates we received, they even installed a new thermostat we can control with our phones.

I don't even know where to begin.... in 100 degree weather, these guys installed air in my house (that has never had air so it's a bigger job - crawling around in the attic which had to have reached 120) in a single day. They are prompt. Clean. Courteous.... I cannot say enough. And the owner Jerry?? Amazing. Put simply: a good man. The way these guys run the business reminds me of a time long ago when what was important at then end of a long day's work was how you felt about your performance. Not necessarily how much money was in your pocket. This kind of honesty and pride starts at the top of this company and is demonstrated in each individual that worked in this oven of a house today. I called Family Air to get a second estimate. I am pretty sure Curtis came in right as scheduled (important when you got a baby with a nap schedule). Jerry then contacted me to let me know their proposal was emailed and then followed up a day later to see if I had any questions. Their offer was waaaaay lower than the competition so we went with them. Lee and Eric came to my home and replaced my furnace in half a day. They were great...(even helped jump-start my car randomly). The finished product looked excellent, they demonstrated changing the filters, and showed it in action. I feel very confident that I got a good deal and great workmanship on this transaction. I recommend Family Air.

I am so pleased that I chose to do business with Jerry, of Family Air Conditioning and Heating, in Simi Valley! I did get three estimates before arriving at my decision. And it was many factors that were taken into consideration before choosing them. Professionalism, immediate response to assess the problem, quick availability to correct the problem, terrific phone demeanor, great reputation, depth and breadth of his experience, and to top it off, his extremely reasonable rates. My tenant revealed that she has never been so comfortable in hot weather, as after I replaced the unit. Yes, after 31 years, it was time to stop throwing money into a sinking ship. Though it was a valiant struggle, the writing was on the wall. And Jerry made the entire process, including the replacement of the unit, making arrangements with my tenant and working with her schedule, arranging for the permits from the city and their final inspection process, and the fair pricing, as painless as possible. All thumbs up! Too bad he isn't available to do jobs in the west side of the county. Give him the opportunity to earn your business, you won't look anywhere else after. And did I mention that Diane, who runs the office is an absolute pleasure to work with? They have all the factors of running a successful HVAC business lined up very effectively. Go. I had searched online for authorized Carrier dealers and found Family Air! I requested a call as I was pricing around for a new A/C unit! I received a call very fast from Jerry and he made an appointment with me on a Saturday to accommodate my schedule! He arrived on time which is very unusual when dealing with repair guys! He was extremely professional and had a quote ready for me that day! The quote had come in a lot lower then the other 2 I had already received!! The installers came and were great, all went smooth and no surprises!! I was so impressed from start to finish and the knowledge I was given from Jerry about my air conditioner and furnace and what was needed for my tax credit! Working with Family Air was a breathe of fresh air and the air conditioner works great! I would for sure recommend this company to anyone wanting to work with someone that is honest and has a very fair price and makes you feel appreciated for your business!!

It's Murphy's law that when the weather is ridiculously hot, that's when the A/C will go out. We were no exception: temps in the 100's & a dead central A/C unit that's almost 20 years old. We had to deal with a home warranty company so it took longer than it should have, but once the dust settled, we were able to select our own installer & equipment, we're so glad Jerry & his gang could squeeze us in during the mad rush brought on by the heat wave. Fair pricing, detailed information on written proposals, new equipment that was in stock within days instead of weeks, plus they handled all the permits & paperwork, even setting the follow-up city/state inspection appointments for me. Super happy, would definitely recommend.
