I was having trouble with a hot tub that I got from Home Depot, and Paul was recommended as a HD Pro Referral. Paul was more than happy, and even eager to talk me through the entire problem over the phone until it was fixed. All for no charge. Hard to beat that!

If anyone is looking for a professional, friendly, honest, reasonably priced & efficient electrician....look no further than Fairway Electric!
Since I have lived in this neighborhood, going on 7 years now, I have used Paul & his guys with Fairway Electric 3 times. And all 3 times I have been super impressed with their work. Their work quickly, they don't trek a mess through your house, they are friendly yet professional and they are very reasonably priced.

Initially when I was looking for an electrician, I gathered free estimates for a job at my house. And Fairway was very reasonably priced and honest. Anf if it is a problem Paul feels that is something the homeowner can easily address himself/herself, he will talk you through the steps of the job over the phone. Plus Paul often will give discounts on a job if you pay in cash and in full!!!!!

All the electricians who work for Paul are very helpful & patient. They are happy with their job and it transfers over into how they treat customers.

Oscar, the Fairwary electrician who was just at my house, was very patient, clear and able to explain everything to me in layman's terms. And they don't try to sell you services you don't need.

I am so happy that I have found a reliable , honest, professional and knowledgeable electrician I can count on. Now if I could just find a reliable plumber & mechanic!

(Please post below if you have a plumber or mechanic you would recommend!)

Thank you Paul, Oscar & Fairway Electric

What a pompous Ahole Paul is. I had an appointment with him to fix the heat in my apartment today at 7:30 and he never bothered showing up nor did he bother taking the time to let me know he's not coming. When I called to see if he was on his way, he literally told me that he took another job an can't make today but maybe tomorrow completely disrespecting my time. I told him I had to take the day off work to be home for this and he basically said that it's not his problem and slammed the phone down. To be treated this way by someone who's supposed to provide a service he's being paid for is unacceptable. He fixed the heat in my home a few years ago and it was basically the same bad experience, also the work was mediocre because the heat isn't working again. I didn't complain to my landlord hence the repeat business. He is not welcome in my home and should not be in yours either.

Wow, seems like the reviews on Paul run hot or cold. My experience with Fairway and Paul has been good! I like his honesty and candor, and he has taken the time to answer a ton of my questions and make sure I understand the process. As with all contractors, you want to make sure you're on top of scheduling and scope of work and costs, so I tend to do that with whomever I work, so that mode worked well. I had an EV charger installed, and while it was not the highest bid, it was not the lowest, but I felt they earned my trust and that premium is worthwhile. The electricians he has sent for the couple jobs I've had the past 5 years have all been excellent, very affable and hard working. I will consider Paul and Fairway the first place I call for a quote at the very least, if not the place to hire. Just keep in mind, contractors have to have a lot of things going on, so take the 1-star reviews with a grain of salt, and always try to be on top of the contracts going on. Paul's crew was on time and got the work done in a reasonable time-frame as promised. He even scheduled them in short order for my EV charger and started super early to make sure I was comfortable since I'm expecting my EV the next day.

Save the trouble. This guy is unprofessional and likely bi-polar. Have him on a recorded line confirming times and date. He asked for a calendar invite to be sent. We sent it directly after the phone drops.

He emails 6 hours later outside of the calendar invite sending varying confusing responses and basically TELLING us he'll arrive 2 hours outside of the confirmed calendar invite time.

I think he may be bi-polar because what then followed was a slew of contradicting messages not confirming anything that was said on the recorded call and basically making up pricing as he so chose.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.

We have utilized Paul and his guys twice this year and they were great. Not only were the quickly responsive but they were on time and were very helpful with getting us the proper switch plates and plugs for the whole house but they put in 8 light fixtures and all the proper smoke detectors. The next time they added an electrical outlet to the garage and added an outdoor light fixture with dusk to dawn sensors. They are quick, efficient, always hopeful and most of all the prices are quite reasonable

I live in the Malibu gardens condos and this electric company was recommended by the HOA. They were solid. Professional. Owner Paul Called me on his cell and made sure everything was ok. They sent a professional that fixed the issue the next day. Professional. Experts. Great knowledge and service. Good pricing. Five Stars

Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with an electrician. I paid $100 to Paul the owner to come out and give an estimate for my EV charger five weeks ago. A week or so later I got an estimate emailed to me with the cost of the job listed at $0.00.

I called a few days later and asked if I could have an actual estimate for the work and he said give him a couple days and he would send me an estimate. Two weeks passed with no word, I called him and asked for an estimate and he said he would look into it immediately.

Another week passed and I called again asking if I could have a refund for the $100 which I paid for essentially nothing. He said absolutely not and that give him until the end of the day and he would have the estimate to me.

ANOTHER WEEK goes by with zero contact and I called to ask for another refund and he said NO! FIVE WEEKS have passed now, with absolutely nothing to show. Horrible customer service, rude on the phone, and a complete disdain for his customers.

Do not hire this guy Paul for anything - ever.

Do NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY FOR LARGE CHANDELIERS
I contacted Paul to take down five chandeliers for me and transfer them to the garage. I even sent him the pictures and dimensions. He was quick to take the job and forgot to mention that they have no experience with moving large high-end crystal chandeliers (mine worth $8000 each). His guys even told me that.
The two electricians he sent over broke my chandelier in three places 10 feet away from the electric box on their way to the garage. They simply didn't have the tools nor the knowledge on how to move chandeliers from one location to another within the house. The original company that installed them for me sent two men, they had a poll on their shoulders with a hook that supported the weight of the chandelier so it was hung during transfer within the house. Then before they laid it down on the floor, they removed the crystals at the bottom so they wouldn't break. These guys just showed up with a ladder and They weren't strong enough to carry the chandelier with bare hands and broke it.
I called Paul and all I was looking for was an apology. I even told him that I am not asking for repair money and this is what he said in return: he rudely replied:
""It's NOT our fault that the chandelier broke... it was your fault. You didn't have what was needed to transfer them safely!!!! I got to go"" and then he hung up.
Well Paul, It's not like I hired you to transfer them to storage for me!!! You were simply hired to take them down and lay it in the garage. Transferring them is being done by a professional moving company who made custom crates and all they asked me to do was to hire an electrician to take them down. Your guys failed to take it down safely and broke it on the way to the garage before it even made it to moving day.
Shame on you for not taking responsibility for your company's actions and shame on you for not apologizing. That's the least a decent person would do after they break an $8000 item. At least your guys that you sent over were kind and apologetic.

The guys that have actually come out to do work have been great. I've used them three times now and have been trying my hardest for a fourth time. The problem is trying to get anyone to actually come out. I've been told to send an e-mail so I did but heard nothing back. Reached out again by e-mail but nothing. Called and was told I'd be given a call back but nothing. E-mailed again but nothing. I hate to go with someone else when I've liked the guys that have showed up but it feels like they're just too busy.
