The company runs a funny like scam. They don't tell you prices before hand. Once the tech gets there they show you the price book. The prices are way way way over priced. Two switches was going to be $600. I told them $200 or get out which they agreed to. Even at that price it was too much. The tech that showed up was GREAT. Not his fault. it's the company. They figure that once the tech is there they can charge whatever and you will say yes. I to wish i had read the reviews but I never thought something like that would happen.

BEWARE!! These people are less than honest. I called when we lost power in our business. We made an appointment with them for 1 hour service but they stalled us for several more hours (costing us a days business). The problem was a short caused by bad insulation. Then I was shown a printed page listing several types of problems, only one of which we had, and it would cost us $1800.00 to proceed. It was like a gun to my head - I had to get our power going and agreed even though I voiced my objection. It took less than 3 hours and cost us $2000.00. I'm considering suing.

These people are rip off frauds. They promised they would come the same day however they ended up not coming claiming a massive power failure somewhere else (a complaint consistent throughout other reviews) so they promised us instead they would come first thing the next morning and give us a 15% discount. They instead arrived at almost noon the next day. They wanted to charge us $364.00 for a part which could be easily purchase on Amazon for $38.00. After we explained that this was ludicrous as they were charging 10 times more for the part, the ""service man"" called his office to confirm his price and then proceeded to deny us device. The only honest thing he said, as he left, was ""a lot of people complain about our prices.""

I want to give them no stars!
This is my 90-year-old mother-in-law's house and she had a faulty circuit in her kitchen.
This company charged over $870.00.
It is a highway robbery!
Just stay away from these guys!

Picked them out of a local telephone book; wanted a local (Santa Clarita) company. They were not! To fix a non-emergency broken circuit they insisted on giving me unwanted 3 estimates starting over $1,200 to rewire my ""dangerously old"" box down to the $300-$400 range. When I said absolutely no; the electrician offered to Mickey Mouse my circuits so I would not have to buy the expensive part (later found out less than $30). He gave me a song and dance and showed me their printed rates and and said there was nothing he could do about it. He even called the office while I was talking to him and they agreed to some minor % off. I said no and sent him on his way after paying a mandatory $85 call-out charge. Then ""the manager"" of their office called me back and asked how much I was willing to pay and then offered to replace the circuit for some $150 - giving credit for the fee already paid. The electrician was apparently parked outside my house waiting for their orders. I unlatched the gate and let him in; they job was done in 15 minutes. The lights work. They guy was competent and OK, but unfortunately his employers make him sell snake oil.
I had almost forgotten this until I received their Christmas Card wishing me ... prosperity.... in the new hear. Yeah -- as long as I stay away from this company.

They are very unprofessional and try to jack up the prices marked up double and triple! Don't call them at all! I feel sorry for the sad employee making 12 bucks an hour! You guys suck!

Rip offs, when you talk to them about their services, they indicate that there is a 59.00 call out charge, what they don't tell you is that they come out and inflate the true costs of the repair by 250% and when you decline the service they collect their 59.00 call out fee regardless of the over inflated cost of the repairs. I had a local electical company quote be the same repairs for 569.00, Express's quote: 1439.00 Next stop better business bureau. Beware

Have a tenant occupied condo and asked Express Electrical for a panel safety check that the HOA recommended. They said it was bad and would cost $9800 to replace. Got a second opinion from licensed electrician who said panel was not bad and even if it was, parts shouldn't cost over $300. He said 3 hours of labor at $159 per hour would only have brought total to $750 at most.

i am an owner of a restaurant and half of the restaurants electricity went down during the middle of the dinner rush.
called this company and technician showed up $(129.99 just to show up) and he replaced a fuze 100amp ( $15 from a part store) and was charged $387.
total came out to be $516.05 but gave a special discount of 10% off.

if i was not sick and stayed at the restaurant this would cost me $15 and 3min...

yes this company did show up and did fix. for $15 part charged over $400...

yes i am in the restaurant business and i do understand business have to charge for service and make profit but this much??

this one is i guess five star fine dining kind of electrical service and yes they have a full right to charge what ever they want.

they did show up. they finished job. just be ready to pay them alot of money because this one is the super star chef owned high price one.

go store and spend $100 to stock up yourself with some $15 fuze for emergency and make sure you let your crews know how to replace those fuzes.

this was my lesson.
