Express Electric was founded in 1989 by me and has been providing outstanding services to the Echo Park, Silver Lake, Atwater Village community, Beverly Hills area, Hollywood district, and West Hollywood neighborhood.
For more than two decades, I have been supervising the team and jobs hands-on to assure quality and customer satisfaction.
Having moved to Los Angeles in 1979, I registered in language classes from day one. I experienced many various kinds of work in a limited period and became captivated by the electrical when I landed a job at Kwick Electric in 1980. I attended Los Angeles Trade Technical College for four years and earned my Journeyman. I still love what I do. The most rewarding part is the chance to meet so many wonderful people and forge long-lasting business relationships. I love my city,
Grateful to Los Angeles!!

Recommended Customer Reviews

Fantastic experience. Highly recommend. Great service and very affordable.
I called Express Electric for the first time at 12:30 pm, got an appointment for 1:45, they finished the job at 3:15. were excellent and worked with me to come up with the best approach to run wire for a built-in bookshelf. They were professional, timely, knowledgeable, and affordable. Shout out to customer service there as well-- upbeat and responsive. I've been working with a lot of great contractors recently on our new home and usually do not leave reviews but these guys were really a cut above. Looking forward to bringing them back for more work.

I tried to get an appointment for an electrician to come out. They flaked without calling...TWICE. Do yourself a favor...AVOID

There's nothing Express about this company. I was given a window between 1-3pm, nobody showed up. i called again at 6pm telling them not to bother as i had plans for the evening, they gave me a window between 9-11 the next day. It's 4.15pm and I'm still waiting. Just got a call saying they would come first thing tomorrow I told them not to bother. Simply can't trust that they'll show.

I scheduled an appointment to check out a ceiling fan that was improperly installed. After confirming the appointment, they called the next morning to say they ""don't do this type of work."" This would be like going to the doctor when you get sick and being told, ""we don't do this type of work.""
Horrible customer service. Stay away.

This Electronic company has horrible customer service..I called for an appointment and spoke to Melissa and Angie and gave them very a curate description of what was needed...I asked them for sure you can handle this job..they assured (lied ) to me that yes they can do this job. .then today after they are an hour past the time they said they would be out, some rep who could not explain nothing advised me they won't be out at all..
I DO NOT RECOMENDED THIS COMPANY FOR ANY
WORK FOR THE GENERAL PUBLIC!!!
THEY TRULY ARE TERRIBLE!!!!

Carlos just came out to my house to fix my fuses. I was sitting home in the dark on a Sunday night and he was here within 15 minutes and fixed the problem in 2 minutes. He was extremely nice and helpful -- I highly recommend him. A + service.

I called this company to specifically help me with my fountain. The fountain worked but it would pop the breaker after about 20 seconds of being on. I called Express Electric and specifically asked if they worked with fountains? she said yes. This was a house I recently sold and was trying to do right by the new owners. I asked them to call me before they did any work because I was paying for the invoice. No call. I had to call them the next day and they said 'the electrician was upset because he went out there and the fountain was unplugged'. 1st: Why would someone be upset to go on a call they were charging a $59 service fee for?!? 2nd: My fountain didn't have a plug. It was a hardwired fountain and thus the call for an electrician. After having to raise my voice, the Operations Manager says 'oh, I'm sorry--I read the notes wrong. He didn't have to plug it in. He saw the wiring was not done right and he spliced it. The fountain still doesn't work. We don't work on pumps."" Um, the fountain DID work before you all touched it. It was just popping the breaker. I'm not clear why you all do not know what you did at the job?!? then he proceeded to tell me how he has been in the business 25 years and they don't do pumps. Then 'why would your scheduler say you did?!?' They refused to refund me the monies for the service call when they clearly not only made my fountain situation worse but was not able to tell me what they 'actually' did when they went out. I would not recommend them at all. *Update to my review* If I could put no stars I would have. His reply to my comment is yet another example of how they do not listen to their customers. Not at anytime did I say to stay within a particular budget. All I asked for was a call PRIOR to any work being done since I was paying for the work and was out-of-state. I wanted to know beforehand what the cost would be to fix. Nor was I unclear when I made the request if they worked on fountains/pumps? If you felt the job was for a handyman or gardner, then why accept the job?
