A circuit in our kitchen went out and and the breaker could not be reset. I called in the afternoon, and Amur came out late that same day and promptly fixed the problem. He also provided advice on a malfunctioning ceiling fan. He was friendly and I recommend him highly.

These guys were great -- professional, fast, friendly, and, most of all, the work they did was outstanding. I will happily call them every time I need electrical work.

And the job was tricky -- a weird electrical problem turned out to have been caused by a previous electrician who two years ago took a short-cut and hid a wire connection under an unused cap for a recessed light that was hidden in the ceiling (I forget the technical term for the cap). They eventually traced the problem to that spot then pulled up the part in the ceiling to do the work. Problem solved!

It's a Sunday. My husband starts a home improvement project that involves changing our porch light to one with a motion detector. He turns off the breaker, starts working, and runs into a problem. Who does he call on a Sunday? He turns to Yelp and calls California Expert Electric Inc.

He talks to Amur who arranges to have a technician out at our house in a about two hours. A short while later we get a text message asking if it's okay for the tech to arrive about an hour earlier. And of course it is. The tech shows up, he's friendly, courteous, and fixed the problem quickly.

In short these guys were great. Ultimately this MIGHT have been something my husband could have handled on his own, but he's glad he didn't. Electricity is one of those things that deserves a lot of respect and safety. It's not something you should deal with when you're not comfortable or uncertain because that's when accidents happen. So if you're in need of some electrical work or repairs you won't go wrong if you give Amur and California Expert Electric a call they'll get it taken care of and you won't need to unnecessarily risk your own personal safety.
