Excel Electric is an electrical contractor company; I would like to give them a perfect 5 star. They are on time & honest. Their Electrician Mike is a super polite and a knowledgeable person. I called them today and I got service In less than one Hour; they are always there to answer calls. they take their business seriously. I am so glad I picked them from yellow pages.

After having 2 other electricians out to my home that did not fix my problem, I began calling around at 2pm on a Friday afternoon. I was referred to Excel Electric by another company in the area that was too busy. The lady that answered the call was so nice and understood my frustration. She had me talk to the owner Tom, who assured me they would handle the problem after their last call and before they went home. Tom gave me an accurate quote, that was spot on the job site unseen. (That was worth a lot to me alone.) Josh came to my house and was so knowledgeable. He went through every detail to be sure the problem was fixed correctly. He cleaned everything up like he was never there. He was just A1 in my book. I will be referring my family, friends and neighbors to them.

I called the owner Tom with a 24 hr notice that I had to have electric for my spa I was trying to get in to surprise my family.

Not only did Toms' worker Josh handle a 80ft exterior run in pvc to a junction box (240v) with multiple breakers, but he did so exactly at 1pm when the crane arrived with spa for install.

Amazing turnaround, and something lese rare today: Cleaned up every bit of trash, electrical wire on site.

He accommodated not only getting 2 guys to my home the very next day, he was extremely knowledgeable and was able to quote me a very accurate price right over the phone. Once Josh and Brian showed up, I knew I had made a good choice. They were extremely careful with my stuff, knew exactly what they were doing and were even able to not only finish my lights without cutting any holes in my drywall, but also able to handle changes I added to the job that same day. My husband and I had an electrical emergency and called Excel Electric. The receptionist picked up right away and said our call would be returned within the hour. Less than 20 minutes later Tom had called us back and was sending and electrician over. A very nice and knowledge Justin was at our house 20 minutes later. Justin did a great job explaining the issue to us, going over prices and options to repair the issue. By later that afternoon the problem had been fixed. Our repair was costly but I feel it was a competitive price and I felt safe with the work Justin did that we would not have an electrical fire. We have to have more electrical work done our home and we will be using Excel Electric again.

I just purchased a newly constructed home and learned (AFTER escrow closed ) that the builder did not provide a 220V outlet in the laundry room. I searched Angie's List and called three highly rated electricians. One was unavailable, another was available at an estimated cost of $1000 (and wanted to charge a service call to give me an estimate) and then there was Excel. Fobbie answered the phone immediately, listened to my plight and Tom, the owner of Excel, called me back shortly thereafter. He quoted me a rate of $125 for the first hour, $95 for every hour thereafter and $100 for parts. He explained that the job would depend on whether or not the builder had provided a conduit from the breaker panel for ""future electrical needs"". Unfortunately, my builder placed the electrical panel on the outside of a stucco wall where the attic is at it's lowest point. Tom immediately sent two electricians to my home who not only installed the 220V outlet in my laundry room (which was as far from the breaker panel as possible), but they also installed another line (not connected to a breaker) so it's ready to go for future use should I need it. All this without making a single hole in any wall. They were very quick, polite, clean and efficient. I will continue to use Excel for all of my future electrical needs and would highly recommend you do the same! GREAT JOB!
