Badie J.I had an existing nema 1450 outlet for my EV installed several years ago but recently encountered an issue where the outlet was overheating. I called up Evivie And they came over to my house same day to diagnose the issue. They were very honest with me and recommended only replacing the outlet receptacle with an upgraded EV Grade outlet specifically designed for charging electric vehicles.
An electrician came to my house later in the week and changed out the outlet. The process was very straightforward and the new outlet is working great.
