Excellent on all levels!

Our installation consisted of 2 Tesla chargers connected to the HOA panel. We wanted to be able to separately bill the 2 owners, and to maximize the charge of the cars without tripping the HOA panel. Paul was fast to respond and had great suggestions for a safe and efficient load-sharing installation. He was the first electrician we talked to (and there were many before him!) who knew exactly what needed to be done, and had done many similar installations before.
Andrew, and 2 coworkers, were on-time for the installation, They were friendly, accommodating and wearing masks at all time. Installation was flawless, in the timeframe announced. Andrew came back the next day to meet with the inspector. We passed the inspection.

Update - My homecharger was having charging issues with a solid red light. Triaged with tesla and determined the unit went bad. Luckily it was still under warranty and Tesla sent me a new one. I reached out to EVCharge4u for advice and feedback. They had advised me of issues they see with some chargers and they will come do a swap for me. Extremely satisfied with the service and was able to come quickly during covid times while practicing social distance. Installation was flawless and couldn't be happier. Thanks for a great customer experience!

Fast, courteous, extremely knowledgeable service.
Our ""old"" house from the 1970s needed a major and by-the-book-with-proper-permits electrical box upgrade from 100 to 200 amps to support and new EV car charger and future solar panel array. Got a competitive quote quickly and had the upgrade scheduled within 2 weeks during peak holiday season and peak Covid-19.
Workers showed up with PPE and a can-do friendly attitude at 8:30 on the dot. Work was completed by 3 PM with only about 30-40 minutes of no-power downtime. PLACE WAS LEFT CLEANER THAN THEY FOUND IT.

I have an 8 year old wall charger for a Tesla Roadster whose cable/plug was coming apart. First thought was to reach out to Tesla. Learned first-hand that there is no dedicated support for Roadsters much less Roadster wall chargers. They gave me an email address that no one ever responded to. 6 months and multiple ignored e-mails later, went physically to Tesla HQ Service Center in Fremont and was met with blank stares. They recommended I ""find an electrician who is comfortable with Tesla wall chargers."" (This, from Tesla!!) So I fan out and approach multiple electricians who claim to be comfortable. They either told me they can't help me or tell me I need to have someone from Tesla service the charger. (I didn't even know how to respond to that.)

I was getting desperate and was now looking at trashing my wall charger, buying the updated Tesla charger ($500), paying for install (?$300), then an adapter for the Roadster ($800). $1600+ because of a jiggly but otherwise functioning cable just didn't seem right.

Then I found EVCHARGE4U. First, the owner Paul got back to me right away. He wasn't sure this was something he could fix but he at least wanted to try and help. Even though I sent my initial inquiry late in the day, he kept coordinating with me well into the evening (even though he wasn't sure I would be a customer in the end). He didn't make any promises but said he'd work on getting his field agent Brian out the next day. A masked and socially-distanced Brian showed up at the end of his full day, again not even sure this would be a billable job. He was careful and went straight to work to figure out a solution, all the while pointing things out and teaching me about my set-up to protect it and take care of it. Within 20 minutes, Brian fixed a problem that had been worsening for over a year, with no solutions from Tesla.

Why can't every company be like this? Why can't owners put in long hours because they are professionals and they actually want to help people, whether or not they make a buck? Why can't employees go that extra mile, even after a long day, and leave their customers smarter about their own products than before?

Owning an electric vehicle is the right thing to do. But the honest truth is it's harder and more inconvenient to do so sometimes. We just don't have the decades of infrastructure and ancillary services of combustion vehicles. But if you've struggled to find a 'Go-To' company to help you with your EV charger needs, you're done looking. You found it. It's EVCHARGE4U.

I was having intermittent charging failures with our evse, and Andrew came out, and fully and thoroughly examined our installation to help isolate the evse itself, and I couldn't be happier.

This is an exceptional company. Paul and his team are knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. When I needed a charging station, Paul came right away and discussed EVs with me, battery technologies, and charging station options. When the box I purchased failed to work after little more than a year, Paul did a diagnosis that persuaded the company to send me a replacement. Besides that, he offered me the use of a charging station while waiting for the new box. When it came, Douglas, who installed it, worked efficiently while wearing a mask and keeping social distance, and he made sure the new station worked before he left. One service this company offers is handling a city's permit bureaucracy. After seeing the paperwork involved, I asked them to do that, and it was well worth it.

Paul's team of electricians was technically impressive and provided me with great customer service! I got friendly answers to my many questions and good advice about which charger would be best for my Chevy Bolt, given that I wanted it to be fast but also portable. It was a more involved project because the old electrical panel was unsafe and not up to code (as previous electricians had also told me). So that was moved and the old 100 amp electrical service was upgraded to 200 amps, with room for future addition of solar collectors and power wall. The Oakland electrical inspector went out of her way to praise the professionalism of the install. Despite an almost year-long wait for PG&E to put in a new transformer across the street, Paul's crew came back recently to finalize every last item on the punch list. I so appreciated the emphasis on providing living wages, good training and attention to detail! These guys are the best!!

Paul and his team did a great job installing my Tesla wall connector. From the outset, Paul was very professional and laid out the installation in a very easy-to-understand manner. I learned a lot in the process!
I was also impressed by his prompt response to emails and calls. His service was friendly and customized to my needs.
I have Tesla power walls and solar panels installed as well, and Paul was able to troubleshoot connection issues in a seamless manner.
We were up and running in a day!
