Customer service and planning for the install was great. The problem is the wall charger was installed early July 2024, and I have no permit. I paid EV Electric $250 for the permit with the city, and EV Electric has not filed or fulfilled their promise with the permit. I've called, texted and emailed the company. The last response was from the owner, Matt, on 7/28/24 indicating they had a problem with the permitter working for them and he is ""working on the backlog but it is quite large."" Now it appears the company is no longer in business.

The work was performed well, but they never sent my permit paperwork. It has now been 5 months and they finally sent me permit paperwork..... for the wrong address. Emails and phone calls are now being ignored. It seems like they went out of business and abandoned all customers with outstanding issues. I will be contacting BBB and filing a complaint. The least they could do it respond to an email text or phone call

The installation went great, or so I thought. I had EV Electric install a Tesla wall charger back in May and they were nice enough to hide the conduit and wire in my attic above the side of my house and then come back down 15' away so I see very minimal amount of electrical on the outside of my house. I paid $340 for an inspection through Sacramento County (paid directly to EV Electric) and I was told that the inspector would reach out within a couple of weeks. This is where the problem starts.

It's been three months and I still have not heard from the county or from anyone really about the inspection. I've left three voicemails with EV Electric and have used the Yelp app to ask them to call me back, and emailed them in addition, and no response to anything. Now their business hours on Yelp say they will not be open until January of next year. estimated time, for temporary closure.

My next step will be to call the county directly about the inspection, but my guess is that the $340 that I paid to EV Electric has not been paid to them and I will have to pay it again and try to get my money back through this company that is not even open at this point.

If you're the owner, please contact me ASAP. I've been more than patient.

We had the Tesla wall charger installed from May 28. We paid them labor and $200 for City of Elk Grove's permit fee and we were told it would take 7-10 days to hear back from the city, but it's been almost 2 1/2 months and we haven't got anything. We followed up with them last month and we were told the application was not submitted yet?!?! For liability and safety, we've expected they have it processed sooner.

Nemo came out and completed a thorough consultation. Even in the 100 degree weather, he did not miss a beat and maintained a professional and friendly demeanor.

These folks did a great service for us by installing our twin cable evse in possibly record time. From the estimator, to the scheduler, to the installer, everyone was pleasant, professional, prompt and very skilled.

I reached out to EV electric and they were able to schedule me in immediately. I had an appt within a day and my Tesla charger was swapped out with a new one by the next morning and with extended warranty. I would highly recommend this company. The customer service was fantastic and the technician was great to work it.
