My husband and I recently got an electric vehicle and needed a charger. We reached out to EV electric and we were able to get quick and quality service. As soon we reached out we were able to get immediately scheduled by one of their qualified electricians and get a quote instantly. I feel we got a great deal. The electrician came over and was able to install the Juice Box charger in less than half an hour. The electrician arrived on time and offered as part of the service to give an indoctrination on how to use the charger. As part of the service EV Electric handled all the paperwork with SMUD to get the rebate which covered most of the cost. They scheduled the county to come and do the inspection and made the process very easy. If you are looking to get a charger for your vehicle for a good cost and in a timely fashion I would recommend them.

Initial install went well. Then. We had delays with our permit. Which is still not finalized but it is scheduled and should be final within a week. So progress.

Al that said, the fact that unexpected issues arise is not the problem with many contractors. The issue rests with how they resolve them. How timely are their responses. Do they value your time spent following up.

In this case, related to the delays, EV Electric continued to respond promptly. They did have a hand in the delays we experienced, however, they owned it. They didn't avoid the awkward conversations. They followed through and even looked for ways to make amends.

We weren't looking for a rebate or a discount. We simply wanted what we paid for.

In the end they appear to be coming through and they stayed engaged in lieu of the delays.

All said, we highly recommend. Everyone shines when things are good. The fiber of what a business is made of shines through when challenges arise.

We had our Tesla EV charger installed on 9/22/23. Charger isn't working. I called twice and system took me to voice mail. Left massage and noone has called back. Very frustrating.
