I requested quotes from several vendors for my EV charger installation and Kiril was the only one to respond with a detailed, itemized quote. When I started digging in to the other vendors' quotes I discovered other quotes were only cheaper because they didn't include the charging device or the city inspection like EV Charger Expert's did. Ultimately EVCE had the best quote.

Working with the team was a breeze. They sent a calendar invite for the installation and inspection and were there on time and able to get the work done. Erin and Kiril were both extremely professional and did stellar work.

Excellent service by Erin and Kirill. The entire process from quoting to final inspection only took a few weeks (most likely due to holidays with city inspection dept). Got everything covered just in time to claim the installation on my taxes. They were responsive and helpful the whole way. Their pricing is also competitive. Installation was neat and tidy and passed inspections as expected.

Kiril was great! I had him come by to check out an issue with a previous car charger (it would trip other circuit breakers when charging) and potentially install a new one. This was using a NEMA socket installed as part of a remodel a couple of years ago. Upon his inspection, he didn't find any issues with the circuit or socket and recommended I work with the initial electrician arming me with the questions to ask him as it could be indicative of a larger issue.

Kiril didn't charge me for his time and was happy to help. He's a standup guy in my book.

EV Charger Expert (""EVCE"") was one of two EV charger specialists that I considered hiring. EVCE's requirements for obtaining a remote price quote (photos, diagrams, information) were simpler than the other company's, so I requested a quote from EVCE. Their price struck me as reasonable for the materials and services required, so I retained EVCE.

Erin did most of the installation work during three visits over a period of almost two weeks. Kirill helped during the third visit (lots of conduit and wiring because our house is on a hillside). Kirill was present today to accompany the City inspector (who approved the installation quickly and easily).

Both gentlemen are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and a pleasure to work with.

EVCE proposed and installed a Wallbox Pulsar Plus charger and a DCC-12 load management controller (we had no spare capacity for a dedicated 50-amp EV charging circuit). I purchased a second Tesla J1772 adapter so I could keep the original one in my car. I've been getting ~40 miles of charge per hour - more than what many online sources say that I should expect (perhaps related to my charging at midnight, when there is limited other electricity usage in the house).

I am pleased to recommend EV Charger Expert.

I chose EV Charger Expert because of their expertise, and they include the permit cost and inspection needs in their quote. Other electricians I contacted either didn't really do EV installs as a regular thing or didn't include the permit in their quote. Very happy with the installation.

Can't say enough good things about the process with EV Charger Expert. After Kirill handled intake and the initial quote, Erin came out less than a week later to do the actual install--both were professional, patient, and really knew their stuff. There's a hallway between our building's electrical room and the garage, but Erin found a brilliant workaround to avoid drilling through multiple walls (and to avoid running conduit near other pipes). Even beyond the fair pricing and quality installation, the fact that they handle the permits and inspection is a huge advantage; Kirill met the city inspector at our place this morning and made sure everything went off without a hitch. I've already recommended them to my neighbors, and wouldn't hesitate to go with them again should the need arise.

Look no further. It was super easy to request a quote and set up an appointment. You do need to know where your Main Panel is and sub panels are. I took pictures as they requested and sent them over and Kirill sent me a quote and a description what needs to be done. After getting a few more estimates, I decided to go with EV Charger. We set up an appointment and Erin came over and did a walk around. He is very knowledgable with Oakland homes (many are over 100 years old) , he did some final measurements then went off to purchase supplies. Installed in a couple of hours and no more gas stations for me! Very great job!

This company CAN USE EMAIL to communicate and can send CALENDAR INVITES whenever work is scheduled. It's such a breath of fresh air compared to other contractors and that doesn't even touch the quality of the work, which was great. Certainly would use their services again.
