I called based on the positive Yelp reviews and was not disappointed. These guys are the real deal -- total pros from start to finish. After submitting a few photos on paper, Kirill came to measure and discuss our options. He did not upsell us the Tesla Wall charger and helped us figure out a somewhat complicated installation of a NEMA 14-50 that would allow us to plug in our car outside of the garage without backing into the driveway. Erin came the next day on time and did a beautiful job installing the the outlet inside the garage, taking about 4 hours. However, it turned out that the Tesla mobile charging cable (which comes in only one short size) was still a tight fit and required lots of maneuvering of the car to get the charger in. So Erin spent another 2.5 hours buying supplies and remounting the NEMA 14-50 outside the garage so that it now fits easily! These guys also take care of all of the permit issues, which in Piedmont is a total PITA. Thanks EVChargerExpert!

Recently got a Tesla Model 3 and we were panicking about getting a home charger installed. After looking around, Kirill reached out and said he could help us out within a few days (we were close to delivery date so we were happy to hear that!).
Disclaimer: I know nothing about charging or what's best, but Kirill was able to answer my questions and concerns. He was so patient even though we were going back and forth...sometimes even late at night, sorry Kirill!

He recommended that I go with a NEMA 14-50 after I sent him pictures of my breaker and panel, and because I live in a townhouse community it probably was best to get the NEMA outlet. We were sticklers about getting the Tesla Wall Charger so Kirill drafted up a quote quickly, though his recommendation was still a NEMA (cheaper and easy to install), we took his advice upon seeing the price difference (over $400).

When Erin came to install he noticed that we were already set up for EV charging, just needed the outlet! He called up Kirill and we were told that instead of paying $1k, we would just pay around $400! That totally made our day and Erin was done within 2 hours (he went and got the supplies and then got to work).

He did a clean job and now we can charge at home! Thanks EV Charging!

I am highly recommending Kirill and Erin! What a professional team they are. The whole process (including getting the permit and inspection!) was absolutely smooth and straight forward. They are very knowledgable experts at what they do, answered questions beyond the job, communicated promptly and thoroughly. the owner (kirill) personally stopped by our house for ~30 minutes to take some measurements and offer us a (free) estimate with respect to the cost and level of work the project entailed.

we found the quote to be both competitive and thorough, with kirill graciously answering any questions that we had regarding the installation and offering us various alternatives to shape the job around both our aesthetic and financial needs.

we pulled the trigger on the quote, and when the installation day came around, kirill's colleague (erin) arrived on time and was able to complete the project in a matter of hours.

prior to the scheduled installation, kirill preemptively scheduled a permit inspection to be done by the city (knowing the city was delayed a few weeks due the the number of inspections it had backlogged). this allowed for the project to be completed / reviewed by us / approved by the city within a ~week of the installation date.

after a job well done, kirill reminded me to fill out a pg&e rebate ($500) for our clean energy vehicle, which i just submitted.

all in all, a great overall experience - very knowledgeable (and friendly) staff, i would not hesitate to recommend kirill and erin for anyone looking for a similar project.

Kirill and Erin were excellent. Coordinated with Kirill to schedule a NEMA 14-50 install within a week after initial contact. Erin came to do the install the morning I was getting my EV and he was done in 2 hrs! (Including time it took for him to get the right supplies!) Erin was responsive and helped with all questions I had after the install and they scheduled the final inspection to be done within a couple days. The entire process was easy and quick. These guys know what they're doing and id highly recommend them.

When my wife told me she found EVChargerExpert to install an outlet for our new Tesla, I told her it was marketing trickery. I was sure we'd be duped into paying a premium because they were marketing their business as EV Charging specialists. We just need a regular electrician that'll charge regular prices to install an appliance outlet, I said.

Well I was wrong. These guys are actually priced slightly lower than the other quotes I got from regular electricians.

The process from initial contact was easy, thorough, and efficient. Erin was punctual, incredibly pleasant, and his work was clean and quick. When we had an issue a few hours later (completely my fault) with one of the breaker circuits, Erin was quick to pick up the phone and help out. It's clear that customer service and pride of work is top priority for these guys so it's incredible they don't charge more than they do.

My husband upgraded from a Chevy Spark to a Tesla. While we had an electric charger they were not compatible. I reached out to several popular installers on yelp. Kirill from EV charger was quick to respond and ask pertinent questions. Erin then came to our home for a free consultation and evaluated our system. He made sure all circuits and panels were working well and then gave us our options. After being here at least 30 minutes he figured out a solution with an adapter that would cost us nothing. He could have sold us on many options , what do we know? Instead he showed us a way to not use him! So honest! He was sweet, patient and friendly. I would highly recommend them for your EV installation. They were friendly, honest, knowledgeable and above-board.

I found EVChargerExpert on Yelp and can give them the highest recommendation. I received several bids and theirs was the most competitive and most comprehensive; they knew what they were doing and did it well -- and on schedule. Kirill and Erin were very responsive to my e-mail (and in person) questions and they ensured I knew how to use the station and that the job was done with all of the necessary permitting. They were professional and reliable; I'm really glad I hired them to do this work.

Erin and Kirill were great, and I highly recommend them. Of the 3 businesses I contacted, Kirill was the only one who came around in person to see the job before giving a quote. They were competitive on price - I suspect the others price in plenty of margin, since they were just doing the quote from pictures. Erin was very responsive and knowledgable when I had queries, and in adjusting the quote as a result. They were also very flexible about coming up with a solution for the awkward location of my electrical panel.

Erin made a very neat installation and we're very happy with it. He went above and beyond in positioning it so we didn't have to repaint the area. I also checked out all the behind the scenes work and it was very tidy and organized - always a good sign. Great guys and I'd be very happy to work with them again for any electrical work.
