I had some simple issues that needed to be fixed around my house. The parts alone were less than $100 but I was OVERCHARGED for service at $125 per hour at 3 hours that I know they DID NOT spend at my home. Also, I called them to look at another home I have and they will NOT just come and do a free quote. They will do a service visit so they can charge you at least $125 per hour. NEVER, NEVER used them..........this is how they stay in business. Overcharging for service fees!! What a rip off!!!!

OMG!!OMG!! Never, ever. My tech came out to replace power meter, which did not require a county inspection. Ga power came out to reconnect, saw a problem. Tech had left, I called him. He actually got into an arguement with the tech, told him it was GA power supplied equipment. Now GA Power is requiring a county inspector. Ever try to get a county employee in same day!!!

Great friendly, fast service. We had a kitchen remodel that had to be done because of a fire. Estes electric came out and did an amazing job. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a reliable, accurate, top notch electrical company.

Unreliable and unprofessional. They bailed on my appointment altogether and the only answer was ""Ummmm we don't know where our guys are but they'll be there sometime today."" No respect for other's time, they never showed and never called.

We have had Estes Electric do a lot of electrical work for us, but recently we had a situation where they really went 100% above and beyond. We had an electrical problem that had our lights flickering and burned up two of our printers to the point that one was giving off a horrible burning smell, which we thought was coming from the outlet rather than the printer itself. When I called Estes, they were here within 20 minutes, despite the fact that the electricians were all currently on jobs. They found the problem quickly and were able to explain it to me in easy to understand terms.

I then had to call Oncor, who took FOUR DAYS and four different calls to finally fix everything, but as soon as the electricity was back running correctly, Estes came back out to help us with all of the issues that resulted from the surges. They were here within 24 hours of my call, and got everything done in less than 3 hours, and actually discovered that some of our problems were burned out power strips rather than bad outlets. They could easily have charged us for ""repairing"" those outlets and we would never have known the difference, but they were honest and showed us repair wasn't necessary.

I truly would trust this company with any of my electrical needs. They've been wonderful to deal with, and are very quick on their response times.

Professional, knowledgeable, and will not stop until the problem is solved! I've been having some really weird electrical problems and grounding issues due to my home being so old and Barry went above and beyond to solve the issue. He didn't take any short cuts and didn't stop until the problem was completely fixed and my home was safe. I highly recommend Estes Electric.

Highly recommended! We recently bought a ceiling fan from Lowe's, but their installer said we had some wiring issues that were beyond his abilities and recommended we call an electrician, so we called Estes Electric. They promised to do their best to get someone to us on the day we would be off, and sure enough, that morning, the electrician called about 9 a.m. to let us know he was on his way. He and his partner fixed the wiring issue and installed the fan in about an hour, and charged the same that the installer from Lowe's would have charged! They did an awesome job!

I needed electricity in my barn. I called multiple electrical contractors and some set up an appointment to come out and never showed, others showed up to give me an estimate and promised I would have it the next day but I never received any estimate. Estes came out to give me an estimate, actually provided me with the estimate and I had them do the work. The crew doing the work was excellent and they finished everything ahead of schedule and the work done was outstanding. Next time I need any electrical work done I will know exactly who to call!

This is going to be a lengthy review - worth the time to read!

I initially called Estes electric out to my home to install an electrical outlet on my patio for an outdoor TV. Herb came out on the scheduled date to provide me a no-obligation quote. While he was out, I had him look at my inground pool light box that had been hit by a mower with the previous owners of the house - the cover was coming off and I assumed electric and water were not a good mix. Herb advised that we could definitely repair the box (sit it back straight in the ground and put a new cover on it) and while he was at it, he went ahead and checked the GFI without me even asking - Thank goodness he did as the GFI wasn't tripping - this could have been bad!

Herb provided a quote and sent two electricians out to complete the agreed upon work. Matt and Jorge came over and worked very diligently and quickly. What was quoted as a two hours job took these guys just half the time.

The evening the job was complete, my husband noticed an abundance of standing water near the inground pool light switch. We had to assume that something was accidently broken during repairs and I emailed Estes electric immediately (this was on the 4th of July) - I had an immediate phone call the following business day and the owner, Gary, was so pleasant and assured me he would be out to look at the issue the following morning. Gary came to my home and dug a small trench and noticed that the pipes were cracked at the bottom - possibly happening from the straightening of the box. The very next day he had Matt and Jorge back at my home and they repaired the damage with no further questions asked. These two electricians are superb!

All in all - this is an honest company and it's so hard to find good, honest people now days. Please, if you ever need any kind of electrical work - call Estes. While mistakes happen, these people were wonderful about repairing and they did it timely. I could not be any more pleased with this wonderful company!!

Friendly folks that went out of their way to help me when they were covered up with other scheduled work. I didn't have an appointment and couldn't get one because of the storm. They promised to work me in and did. The electricians were clean, courteous, and knowledgeable. I will be calling Estes Electric in the future if I have any more problems.
