Brandon B.If anyone is looking for an electrician, we highly recommend Carolos Esparza at Esparza Electric. Our requirements were somewhat unique - we were adding a transfer switch and batteries to an existing solar array. We knew exactly what we wanted, but finding someone to do the installation was a challenge. We reached out to more than a dozen companies - some who specialize in solar as well as several traditional electricians. Some flat out said they weren't interested, which I respect. Others said they'd send us a quote and we never heard from them again. We eventually found Carlos. We really appreciated his ability, and willingness, to problem solve. We had to move existing wire, add a transfer switch and cutoff, and run a lot of new wire and conduit. Carlos came up with a really clean design. He was great at communicating and always did what he said he'd do. If he said he'd be at our house at 8:00, he was there by 7:45. That has not been our experience with a lot of contractors. Our inspector flagged some stuff that wasn't part of this project and had been approved a couple of years ago under a different permit. Our initial design was approved by one group within CenterPoint and rejected by another. Carlos just rolled with it and made sure it was right in the end. We're really happy with how it turned out. I'm sure Carlos would do a good job with any project. But you should definitely call him if you need someone creative and flexible.
