We got estimates for a solar system from a couple companies, and decided to go with ES Electric. Besides getting a good feeling about Eric & the crew, I really appreciated that they did not just give us whatever system that their company had come up with for a typical house. They looked at our place and came up with a solution that took advantage of our available space and came in cheaper than the other estimates. Eric was really good to work with, and the system is performing well. I expect to upgrade to some sort of battery system in the next few years, and the system will be able to handle that. Highly recommended overall.

As I embarked on the tedious and overwhelming task of researching solar for my home. I reached out to friends and neighbors. Got tons of info... most of which was DON'T lease. I chose three of the referrals to have come give me bids. Two of the companies were very impressive, ES and a second one. I thought wow this will be hard to choose. Then I got the bids... for the exact same set up, the other company was $10,000 higher. That made my decision super easy LOL. I went with ES Electric. What a great decision that was... they were so professional, on time... they did all of the permits, even my HOA requirements. Super impressed with all of them. They also monitor my system for me too, making sure it is working at all times. So happy I chose them.

Meleah, the heart of the office is a total jewel. She made all the permits and paperwork come together like magic. No problem is too big for her to handle.
From walking into the office for some information, to job complete took less than one month.

I agree with all reviewers. Eric and crew installed 9.24kwh system on our roof in Rocklin. They were very careful, thorough and tidy. The Inverter was nice and cleanly installed in the garage. Our system is SolarEdge and we are sold on the quality and the crew installation capabilities.They know what they are doing and I trust them.

ES Electric install a 10kw solar system on my roof in placer county area. Eric the owner was very informative with my many questions and addressed all of my concerns. After meeting with Eric I immediately got that good feeling we all want before hiring someone to work on your home. He was honest with me and not trying to sell me something I did not want or need. His guy did a great job and clean up after themselves, witch is very nice to see. Now five years later the system still works great and I am very happy with the job and a very small electric bill :)

This review is for ES Electrical and Solar. I'm a research person by nature and it's no coincidence that ES Electric and Solar were recently voted Loomis News Best of the Best for Solar in 2014. First off, they were recommended to me from a PG&E technician that recently installed solar on his personal home. At that point, I scheduled a meeting with the owner Eric Salci for a site visit, but my bills were too low to consider a system a few years ago. Since then, add a pool and a hot tub, and within one month I know Solar is a no brainer to stay away from any upper level tiers from PG&E. BTW, it's these top tiers that are constantly increasing in rates year after year. Tier 1 from PG&E has remained pretty constant the past 20 years or so.

Eric came out once again and brought his Solar Eye, which does a great job of accurately forecasting the energy production from the planned panels over the entire year. When the owner of a small business who has 17 years' experience behind him comes out personally and takes the time to give a properly designed roof layout prior to receiving a signed contract, it goes a long way in the relationship building category. This compared to high pressure sales people coming to our home and explaining what their crews will do for us is a tremendous contrast.

After his analysis and the payback period, it was evident to start the project right away. Bottom line, we're going to pay for energy one way or another and we've always been owner mentality people instead of renters. The idea of having our home completely operated by the Sun is really an amazingly good feeling and a value we emphasis to our children. After all, it's our legacy and the wake of what we're doing which their generation will inherit. It's only been about one month and already I'm spinning my meter backwards with 2200 lbs of CO2 Emission Saved, 56 Equivalent Trees Planted, and 4,400 Light Bulbs Powered for a day. I feel there's an Electric Car completely powered by the Sun in my near future!

The installation crew was top notch. My job went over in estimated number of days on site, but I can tell the crew and owner were more interested in doing a quality job then buttoning up the project quickly. I can't say that about other contractors who have come to my home. My installation was really detailed (with possible wind speeds at my home rated to 105 MPH) and they took great care adding extra mounting brackets and making sure the install was as esthetic as possible.

Bottom line ES Solar and Electric is a top quality company and you can expect over the top customer service from Eric, Meleah and install crew. Highly recommend them to anyone looking at Solar.

ES Electric installed a 6.2kW solar system for me. Everybody else who took a look at my roof said it's not possible or had to install it facing west instead of facing south (south is the ideal direction for maximum electricity production). And the west facing side of the roof presented a big aesthetics problem for us as well. I had 3 crews tell me the same thing!

Not Eric from ES Electric. My wonderful neighbor, who was also installing a system on his roof, did all the research and comparisons and referred me to ES Electric. He took one look and said he can do it and put the panels facing South. He couldn't understand why the other guys can't do it. My neighbor and I went with ES Electric.

ES Electric was extremely easy to work with. Love their use of emails because i am just too busy during the day to chat on the phone! The crew installed the entire system in 5 days, on my tile roof. They told me they replaced the few broken tiles they broke and a few that was already broken before they got up there. And you can't beat ES Electric on the price. Online-monitoring of the system, 25 year warranty, and guaranteed productivity of the panels.

The owner Eric is extremely easy to work with and easy to talk to. Honest hard working family man! Love it. And thank you to Meleah for making everything smooth. Every successful business has a wonderful woman behind the operation! :)
