My family relocated to the Bay Area about a year ago. After having some difficulty finding a reliable electrician, my husband finally found Eric Wood on Yelp. Eric has done a number of jobs for us over the last year. He is a wonderful electrician, and is always professional and responsive. He has installed recessed lighting, converted old recessed lights to LEDs, installed ceiling fans, replaced outlets, and has helped us to troubleshoot electrical issues in our 50 year old house. Several months ago when one of our outlets arched, I called him on a Sunday night. He was kind enough to call me back immediately to make sure that we were okay and that there was no immediate situation that he needed to attend to. He came by our house first thing the next morning to repair the outlet for us. I really appreciated his care and responsiveness to ensure the safety of my family.

He is reliable, hard working, knowledgeable, and arrives on-time. He also always cleans up when the work is complete, a fact which I really appreciate. His rates are reasonable, and he never recommends more work than we need to do. We are so glad that we discovered Eric Wood and we will continue to call him for all of our electrical work!

What a class act!

I had a late night problem with my electrical at home, searched electricians in my area as I couldn't troubleshoot the problem. Next morning I called Eric (after other electricians were not available) and despite the fact he was already booked he took the time to stop by my house and helped me narrow down the problem. He did some testing and inspecting and told me what else to do as he had to leave for his other project. I asked what I owed for his time and very nicely he said that we would settle in the future! Later on I found and solved the problem.

Eric not only is an electrician, he does remodeling work and after looking at his work pictures and reviews he will most likely be handling any projects at home for us.

Being new to the area, I didn't know who to call when I needed a new outlet and a cable relocated for my TV. I called Eric and he came over to check out the job and give me an estimate. It sounded like a fair fee for the work so we arranged for him to do the job. Eric is very neat. He cleans up as he goes. He doesn't track dirt all through your house. He is meticulous. Everything he did for me, cutting in a new outlet and wiring it up, relocating the cable including cutting in a new box , repairing the wall and matching the texture on the sheet rock, all of it was done expertly. And he's a nice guy too !

I first hired Eric Wood five years ago to install a lighting fixture in my home. He was recommended by a painting contractor at the time. Since then, Eric has become my ""go to"" guy for anything electrical. He's overhauled my electrical panel and arranged all new lighting in my family room, kitchen and home office. He helped me arrange a layout that would best suit my needs and explained the plusses and minuses of LED lights versus low voltage. He even installed a couple of sample lights to show me how each would look. Seeing how the different lights would look in a real world situation made an enormous difference in the selection of my final options. I ended up with a combination of low voltage in my family room and office, pendent lights over my kitchen bar and LEDs in the kitchen. Eric is a real professional - highly responsive and very nice person - and I highly recommend him.

Everything we wanted done, Eric and his workers either did and did well or explained to us why it shouldn't be done and what the alternatives were. Once his job was done, and quickly, I might add, my home was left absolutely clean, no wire trimmings, no wire coverings to clean up, nothing! Clean as a whistle.

Eric Wood and his team are worth waiting for. If I had to wait a few weeks for him to schedule a job for me, I did. If you want the very best, you have to wait a few weeks. That's how I feel about Wood

Whenever we have electrical work, Eric Wood is the guy we call. He has done several projects for us at two houses over the last 7 years...from complete electrical upgrade and lighting designs to fixing the mess from a former owners handyman. He is a pro, his prices are fair and I would not hesitate to recommend him.
