If you are like me, when you are told you need an electrician to do what electricians do, you panic. You think it's going to be expensive, you'll have to wait and, it will take hours. That's how I felt when the Cox Cable tech told me I needed work done, before I could have cable.

I checked Yelp and found several electricians listed. Of those several, some had lots of five star ratings, great reviews and accolades. I called a few of them and left my number. Some called, some didn't and those that did quoted me lots of $$$. I kept looking and came upon EQ Electric. They had one rating and it was all 5's. I called EQ, left a message and within minutes, I heard back from the owner, Ethan. He was friendly, helpful, asked me what I needed and said he would work around my schedule. Imagine my surprise.

Well, fast forward to today. Ethan showed up, asked a few questions and within a short time, my electrical woes were resolved. He even fixed a few things that weren't even on his work order. And the best thing? His pricing was SO REASONABLE.

Yes, you could use one of the bigger companies with all the 5 star reviews. However, bigger is not better. After seeing Ethan provide great service, resolve my issues and at a great price to boot, this is who you should use. Give him a try-you will not be disappointed.

We moved into our new house that needed lots of updating. Ethan arrived on time, explained everything so we could understand and provided a cost effective quote when compared to the other two companies we contacted. He even provided some suggestions that reduced our cost. We were very happy both with the quality and speed of his service. They installed ceiling fans, canned lighting, moved wall switches, added a 220 box and line for the outdoor heaters he installed and lots of other additions and relocations.

We were very pleased with the quality of his work as well as the speed in which he completed it. EQ Electric was probably one of the best contractors we hired in our more than 40 years and six homes.
