Recommended Customer Reviews
We needed 2 new outlets installed in our home. After getting quotes from 11 different companies, we decided to go with Epie's. They were highly rated and offered competitive pricing. Upon arrival, the team was friendly, efficient, and informative. They did a great job and even remembered to wish my wife a happy birthday (after I had mention this in conversation). We are more than happy with the service we received from Epie's and we will certainly be using them again in the future for our electrical needs.
Epie's is absolutely fantastic. I had been searching far a wide in the Metro Atlanta area for a reliable and reasonably priced electrician, and it definitely took me a while, but I definitely found it with Epie's. The staff is extremely communicative and punctual, the work is meticulous, and their price quotes were much more reasonable than some of the larger companies in the area. I hired Epie's for a Level 2 EV Charger installation as well as a whole house surge protector installation. The team assigned to my project consulted with me every step of the way, they cleaned up after themselves, and all the work looked clean and neat. I would definitely give them a call for your next project!
Installed a new outlet and cleaned up a bonkers breaker box with a fair price and prompt service. Very nice and professional service workers; showed up fully masked and were respectful of social distance. Did an excellent job explaining what was needed in the estimate and then walking through all of the work once completed. Very responsive office staff. Kind owner. Very happy to support this local business.
My internet provider notified me that I needed an bonded grounded lightening rod installed at my house tucker. Shopped around and Epie's had the most competitive price and also best customer service. I requested a picture be sent to me as proof of completion. They did. I asked if I could pay over the phone. They said yes. Special thanks to Phillip who serves as an office manager as well as an electrician. Top notch professional service with stellar customer support.
Highly recommend. I had to have my service upgraded and everything went well. Very friendly, and tidy workers. Very satisfied! Be prepared to possibly wait on GA Power to disconnect or reconnect your service, but that isn't Epie's fault. All went well! Thank you!!
We've been using Epie's for years and we're always happy with the service.
Dan Doster came over after I told him that I needed our doorbell fixed. I had checked and replaced the battery on the doorbell ringer but, for whatever reason, did not think to check the bell itself.
Sure enough, one of the batteries for the bell was corroded. We replaced the batteries for the bell and presto - our doorbell was fixed! I was happy about that, but I was kicking myself for now having to pay a trip charge that wasn't really necessary. Dan and I had agreed to a price over the phone after all, and I was ready to pay it.
But to my very pleasant surprise, Dan told me that for such an easy fix, there was no charge! Dan seems to truly care about customer service. For that reason, his magnet card is now up on our fridge and we plan on calling him for any future electrical services we may need.
After dealing with a number of non-responsive contractors, it was refreshing to work with Dan and Jesse to complete the basement electrical work. The work involved the following:
- Add new wiring for bathroom light fixture
- Install light fixture
- Place ventilation fan on a separate switch
- Move fluorescent light to hallway
- Add outlet to bedroom
Epie's responded promptly to my initial inquiry with an itemized estimate. The estimate was the most reasonable that I had received. The electrician Philip was able to complete the work the following Saturday. Philip was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I would definitely use Epie's again for any electrical work.
Let's just start by letting you know it will be $125 minimum service charge (PLUS the over-inflated cost of the parts/job) when they come out. I found this out the hard way after I recently called them out for a very small, 30 minute, job. This, after we spent thousands of dollars with these people less than a year ago. You need to know that up front. And there are more than a hand full of very qualified, licensed, handymen in the Tucker area. So, ask around the Tucker Facebook pages first. I guarantee they will charge half these people for handy work. We were considering them for a $10-20k+ job we have coming up, but they'll never step foot in our home again. If they do, they will regret it. And, let me tell you something else about Epie's: I've seen, and have them on camera, on our property when we weren't home, and had no business being there. That's trespassing. That's against the law. They won't do that again and not, at the least, face charges. Furthermore, my wife told me that their behavior while they were in our home a year ago was very unsettling and unprofessional. Little comments and weird looks. Thankfully, there were other workers in the home at the time. She only recently told me about this when we were discussing them. Had I known this at the time, we would have a much different situation on our hands right now. As for their work, its fine. Certainly not first-class. Frankly, other than Phillip the electrician, a little sloppy. You can find better, more qualified, less expensive, less creepy, handymen in our area. I would recommend that you do just that. All this, in my opinion.
I highly recommend Dan and his crew at Epie's. They do great work, are meticulous about what they do and very professional. I've had them come in for handiwork, electrical work and plumbing and they've done a great job on all levels. Just recently, I had a lighting fixture and fan that I wanted installed on my ceiling. The problem was there were no wires there but there was a hole and a plug and a beam to hang a lamp from. The Electrician had to do some fancy work to pull the wire inside the ceiling over and down inside a wall to create A switch for the lamp and light to operate from without tearing out the ceiling. They thought about it for a while and tested some of the walls and found a way to do it with minimal damage to the wall. In fact, they even cut drywall to fit the holes that they had to cut into the wall so that all I need to do is mud over it, sand it and repaint. Great job! I referred them to all my friends so I hope they're getting a lot of calls
