I've been a customer for about 4 months now and I'm really happy with my decision to switch to Epcot Electric.

I used to be with another company that told me my rate would be 2 cents per kwh if i used ___ kilowatts and then from ___ kw to ___ kw, i would be charged 5 cents and anything over ___ kw, i would be charged 10 cents... REALLY?!?! on top of that, i had some unknown ""Hurricane Ike Relief"" that i was being charged... Hurrican Ike was years ago! what the heck am i still paying that for?!

but i made the switch to Epcot and have been pleased overall. I opted for a fixed plan with no monthly fee and monthly autopayment from my credit card. no mess no fuss. i receive a bill each month and don't need to do anything else since i'm on autopay. their bills are easy to understand. they have my rate X kw usage + 3.05 centerpoint advanced metering fee (which they told me was a charge that centerpoint is charging everyone for the new meters they are putting in)... that X the city tax and gross receipts and PUCA (both of which are government related) and you have your total... no hidden TDSP passthru charges or any other ridiculous fees other companies have charged me. Thank you Epcot!!!
