DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY / CONTRACTOR / ELECTRICIAN! AND after you have read my review, please read the other negative reviews. Aaron called regarding a service request from my home warranty company. He proceeded to ask me what the problem was and I explained that our GFCI outlets randomly trip and we recently had a circuit breaker trip so we thought it was time to have an electrician come out to see if they could fix it.

He comes and when I open the door he just stands there acting like he doesn't want to come in (like he's thinking hey if I can get her to tell me it's something that won't be covered I won't have to go inside, please read on to understand) and asks me again what the problem is. He reluctantly comes in and I take him to the GFCI outlet in the kitchen only for him to tell me it's normal for an outlet to zap me with power when I go to plug in a toaster oven and constantly trip the outlets. He tells me it's the actual appliance tripping the outlet because it's wired wrong and we have used 3 different appliances. This guy clearly is LAZY and as everyone has said here on yelp, HE WANTS THE MONEY FROM THE HOME WARRANTY COMPANY WITHOUT COMPLETING WORK!

He lied to our warranty company so he wouldn't have to do any work. And now our home warranty company refuses to send out a different technician. He saw that we had a space heater and told the home warranty company that all our problems were from a lack of capacity from running ONE 1500 watt space heater. The electrical problems continue, I'll be sitting in another room and the GFCI in the bathroom next to me will POP with no appliance plugged in! There's clearly a problem, we aren't electricians so we do not how to fix it. And this guy makes it so our home warranty company won't help us.

I did a little research on my own and if you want to know...
A 1500 Watt electric ""space heater"" in every room would probably satisfy most residential requirements, perhaps requiring two units for larger opened spaces. A 2000 sq. ft. , 3 bdrm., 2 bath home might require 8 heating units, for a total of 12KW. That's a lot of heat, enough for pretty extreme ambient conditions. The 100 Amp total load, with all units running simultaneously, should be within the CAPABILITIES OF MOST MODERN RESIDENTIAL ELECTRICAL systems which provide 100-200 Amp. abilities. Smaller heating units might be appropriate for bathrooms and individual thermostats, integral in each unit, would allow regulating temps in each area so not every heater would be drawing full current all the time. The only strain might be on your finances when the utility bill arrives.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH AARON YOU ARE CLEARLY THE LAZIEST ELECTRICIAN AND THE BEST AT RIPPING OFF HOME OWNERS VIA THEIR HOME WARRANTY PROGRAMS! YOU SHOULD WIN AN AWARD FOR MAKING THE MOST IN HOME WARRANTY CLAIM FEES! ALL THE HOME WARRANTY COMPANIES SHOULD GIVE YOU EXTRA FOR SAVING THEM SO MUCH MONEY IN DENIED CLAIMS! I'M SURE YOU MUST HAVE STOCK IN THOSE COMPANIES TOO RIGHT?!

This company was assigned by my home warranty (first American home warranty) and it was a horrible experience.

I was switching my outlets and I messed up and my breaker switch wouldn't move, so I submitted a request form from my home warranty.

The guy arrived and waited outside his truck for about 10-15 minutes. He arrived and I told him the problem (initially leaving out that I switch out the outlets).

He reseted the breakers and as we were walking back inside I mentioned I switched out the outlets and he got pissed off and his attitude changed. He then asked more info and I told him I switched one of the outlets 6 months ago and never had a problem. He then said I changed my story 3 times, like literally putting words in my mouth. I was being honest and said I messed up by changing the outlets. He then left and said I should recheck the wires myself.

Literally if I left my mouth shut and never mentioned me changing the outlets, he would of fixed it himself.

Literally paid home warranty 85 dollars for him to reset my breakers.

I don't recommend this company.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. LAZY and one of the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I've seen to date. If I could give it 0 or negative stars, I would.

Energy Smart was assigned to me for warranty work (American Home Shield). Extremely lazy (incompetence would have been better) and intentionally diagnosed all the reported issues as the fault of the homeowner (so they can take the warranty money and do no work). Did absolutely no work to resolve issue except to look for reasons not to work (blame it on the homeowner). Technician was in the home for less than 10 min and never listened to the homeowner... response back to me was rude and ask insulting rhetorical questions like ""are you an electrician?"" when I tried to explain the issues.

Specifically, I reported 3-4 electrical outlets in the kitchen and 1 in the garage as inoperative. Technician came in and found one outlet in the kitchen with an ""overload"" in less than 5 minutes. From there, he stopped working and just took my money. Blamed everything on the single overloaded outlet even though when confronted by me, he admitted the garage outlet was on a separate circuit. Additionally, I tried to explain (with witness) that the kitchen electrical outlet was working even after the one outlet was overloaded. Technician never bothered to listened and repeatedly asked if ""I was an electrician?!"" Although I am not an electrician, I know FACTS. Fact #1 is that the garage outlet is totally unrelated to kitchen overloaded outlet. Technician made no attempt to fix nor mention that in the report to home warranty company. Fact #2 is that kitchen outlet was still operative after that one overloaded outlet. I even asked the technician to put that in the report.

In the end... lazy, rude, and semi-incompetent company that will do as little work as possible and take your money. Please be aware.

Worst experience ever. Switch was replaced and plate was not flush to wall. When I asked could it be fixed he lost his mind. Started reprimanding me that this was the thanks he gets for trying to help the customer. He went on and on and freaked me out.
He stormed out door and sped off. Of course I called home warranty to complain but I would never allow that weirdo back on my property. Hopefully my complaint helps for future customers but unfortunately not for me.

Absolutely the worst home repair experience I've ever had.
minor switch repair. When I asked could the Plate be flush to wall like it was before tye repair, the guy lost it. He said this is the thanks I get for trying to help the customer. He went on and on then just stormed out and left. i placed complaint with home warranty co but since I would never allow that company back on my property it was a waste of time. If there was no zero star I would have chose that.

This company was provided by my Home Warranty Co. (First American). FIrst off, Erin (tech-maybe) dictated the appointment time of 8am-11am, not asking if that is convenient or if it would work for me. He firmly stated ""appointment will be in time frame of 8-11.
On the day of the appointment, Erin showed at my door at 7:10 am, called my phone and stated, "" I am at your door, could you open up"". Extremely unprofessional and had I thought faster, I would have told him to come back at 8, the time of the appt.
Circuit breakers continue to blow, however, Erin plugged a tester in the wall and stated, "" nothing wrong"". WOW, just wow. Never asked to turn on appliances, or blow dryer.
I would NEVER recommend or use this company if they were to offer free home service for a year.
Customer service BAD, resolution- BAD, timing-BAD

I would not rate with a one star, however, will not post if at least one star is not used.

This business was assigned to me through my home warranty company (First American Home Warranty). I called them 5 times, and I left 5 messages to get them to come out. They left 1 message by voicemail just saying 'call me back'. Well, I did daily and no response. Even left my work number. I was left a A text message from the warranty company saying that they would be here yesterday between 8 AM and 5 PM. A nine hour window? Really? To top it off, they did not show and they did not call. I would not recommend this business to anyone if their services were free.

I had a technician come out through my Home Warranty because half of my homes lights were out. He was in my home 5 minutes, touched some of the outlets, and told me that he couldn't figure it out and there was nothing he could do. Avoid them if you can, they are no help.

I had an appointment on Thursday. I called and left a message early Wednesday morning asking to reschedule. I did not receive a call back on Wednesday. Thursday was a no call, no show. Unacceptable for a business.
