I have conducted business with Empire for the last year. I have entrusted Ezra with projects ranging from outlet installations to electrical panel upgrades, Mini Split AC, faulty wiring repairs and more. I can say with confidence that safety is his main priority. He has conducted all of his work to code and corrected unsafe conditions throughout my home. Scheduling has been fairly straightforward. Like all small businesses he has his periods where he is busy and it may take a little longer than expected for a response. That's just the nature of the beast in my opinion. Ezra is very knowledgeable and a problem solver. He will always provide you with options. As it is ultimately up to the homeowner what is to take place. I have read some of the negative reviews and I can say that mine have been nothing like that. All work has been completed as promised. I have never had any billing issues. I've had to change orders and there is a restocking fee, but that's outlined on the contract and expected. I never comment on peoples pricing, so I won't start here. I will say that I feel my money has been well spent. My mini split AC installation has become the standard for my neighborhood due to his attention to detail during the design and installation. The materials were also painted to the HOA standard. My energy efficiency has improved vastly since the panel upgrade. I am currently working to hire him for yet another project. As he has earned our trust. Empire Electrical will be the only electrician we hire for projects big or small.

Failed to finish job. Left hot wires by the sink and a hole in our ceiling. Will tell you he ""reserves the right to not return to a job site for any reason"" multiple times before he ghosts you. No response to multiple inquiries to finish the job or provide the photos we are entitled to per contract (that we paid for) to obtain retroactive permit as a result of hazardous conditions found during re-wiring of our kitchen. Should have known when he asked for the 90% payment and he really wasn't 90% done he had no intent on returning. Ezra Cristobal doesn't keep his promises.

I gave 2 stars. The price was higher than others have quoted, work was fine. My previous Halo installer did it for almost half the price, but they moved to another state. However, while drilling, the drill did go thru second floor carpet, missed my daughter's foot, whew. That would been awful. The carpets a little messed up. Ezra said he would take cover of it. It's been 4 weeks, we've texted back and forth. I get, I was busy, I told the carpet repairman to contact u, i was on big island, I was in another job... etc. Nothing happening.

He's a nice guy, but I'm guessing too busy for me. It's hard running a small growing business.

Ezra was quick to respond and fixed our situation that night! Recommend if you need maintenance or emergency situations. Definitely have their contact information on speed dial for any other situations that come up.

Ezra was able to find the electrical issue affecting my home. Even though he looks young, he displayed plenty of knowledge in his field; the work was completed professionally and in a timely manner. I have an Electronics Engineering degree and can tell the difference between excellent workmanship and troubleshooting skills from average; I observed him from start to finish. He only did what was needed to be done and at a fair price. Highly recommended!

We've worked closely with the owner, Ezra, and his staff, and they do quality work that we can and do trust, implicitly. They've prevented many potential hazards in buildings with old transformers, receptacles, plugs, switches, etc. and have responded immediately to emergencies. Ezra and his team have gained a reputation with us for providing quality work utilizing the best safety protocols, and impeccable customer service. We know that our buildings are in good hands - and they're in better shape now that Empire has serviced them. I recommend this company with no reservations whatsoever.
