Empire Electric was one that was suggested, and I decided on them based on my phone conversations and inquiry. Empire did a great job installing a generator interlock circuit and inlet box on my house. The job was very straight forward, but I ended up receiving what I felt we're very high quotes from many others nonetheless. Empire gave me a straight up to quote with no fuss and I found it very reasonable. The electricians that came out did a great job and were friendly and happy to discuss and answer any questions I had about generator use etc. Also, I had a last minute reschedule due to work and they were able to accommodate and take care of the job within a few hours of me letting them know I couldn't be home for the initially scheduled time. The electricians showed up as soon as I got home and worked quickly.

Holy Customer Satisfaction Batman!!
We are buying a house and had a four point inspection done that highlighted a couple of electrical things that required a professional to do for insurance purposes. Two outlets needed covered and a dryer outlet needed to be installed - simple enough, yes? That catch is, we needed it done by today 5/4 and we found this out on 5/3!! I can't say enough good about Empire Electric. David answered the phone and was so pleasant and understanding and he got me scheduled right away.
Chris and Chris showed up right on time and were both very pleasant and professional.They got right to work and did what needed doing with great efficiency. And the cost was not exorbitant either as the have a Yelp coupon available and are happy to accept it, so it cut my cost in half!
Anytime I have electrical needs, I will call Empire!

Steve and Brant who came out to install a microwave, chandelier, and three fans (including wiring one to a switch); and plug for near television were very helpful and did a good job. Would use empire again for sure.

I typically dread having contractors come to the house, if they were all like Brett and John @ Empire Electric I would welcome it frequently. Brett was on-time, used drop cloths to manage the mess cutting new holes for my recessed lights, and the quality of their work was phenomenal. Good electricians are notoriously hard to find, if you have a need look no further than Empire...

Their price was fair and they even had a coupon on Yelp which was even better.

After speaking with several area electricians last month about installing a ceiling fan on a 16' high ceiling I decided to go with Empire based on reviews here. I set a date for Jan 3rd, confirmed the date a week ago and called in the AM to confirm the appt for later on that day. I was told that I would receive a call 1/2 hour before arrival. No call but two electricians showed up in the time frame. Only problem was they had no idea that the ceiling was 16' high, as I had discussed when setting this appt, it was not listed on their work order and they did not have a ladder. They said that they could come back the next day and I agreed, even adding some additional work to my order. 9-10 AM was the agreed upon time. By 2 PM it was pretty evident that no one was going to show. And during all of this there was not even a call from the company apologizing for the error. So I wasted 1.5 days of my own time on what should have been a simple swap out. I cannot say whether they do good work or not but as far as customer service goes I cannot recommend them. I have scheduled the install with another electrician for next week.

Empire came out today and were GREAT! Ernest and Jon were very professional and have a great sense of humor! I had a breaker that would not stay on due to a short somewhere. I expected a huge problem and expensive fix. BUT NOPE!! They showed me the problem and explain the fix ~ two hours/very great price and ALL MY LIGHTS WORK! I will use them every time.
