I have worked with a lot of contractors over the years and I wish they all could have provided the service, quality and timeliness of EMP Electric. Phil was the first to respond almost immediately to my Yelp request for quotes from other electricians. Case in point, 3 out of the 5 never responded and one wanted a $50 service charge to provide a quote, if they weren't the selected contractor. I had a timing issue to have the work done as soon as possible, and EMP came out the same day to assess the repairs which included the installation/repair of 2 switches, troubleshooting a bathroom heater and vent fan, fixing an outlet box, installing 2 junction boxes in the attic and providing a dedicated line and circuit for a jacuzzi tub in one of our bathrooms. The installation of the dedicated line was initially problematic without opening an exterior wall around the panel but, Phil found a solution to avoid this by coming through the attic. On the day of the agreed upon work, EMP showed up right on time and completed the work smoothly, efficiently and with a pleasant, customer-service attitude. Phil reduced the price from the estimated invoice since the work scope turned out to be less than anticipated. Billing and payment was a snap since EMP is set up for electronic payment. My experience with EMP exemplifies what customer service should be when working with contractors. I would definitely use and recommend EMP for future work!

These guys do great work, have decent prices and are clean. Basicall I was having electrical issues and they found and fixed the problems and I upgraded my panel from 100amps to 200Amps. From start to finish it took about 5 hours. They did the work, cleaned up and damaged nothing in the process. They did such a thorough job, when the inspector came he took all but 5 minutes to inspect and pass the work.

I hired EMP to replace all the lighting during my kitchen remodel and they did a fantastic job. They replaced all the old ceiling lights with recessed LEDs, added lighting in and under my cabinets, and they installed all new wall outlets too. They worked fast, and I liked how they left the kitchen spotless after they finished. I would recommend their services to everyone.
