Emmett is NOT someone I would recommend or hire again. He completed the work we paid him to do with moderate satisfaction. My issue is his total disregard and lack of respect for my house. He never once tidied or cleaned up after himself - even though the work was being done in our general living area. The fact that he's an hourly paid contractor (as opposed to a fixed price) is something I'll never do again. I've never seen a contractor work so slowly in my life. I've also never seen a contractor take so many phone calls, and subsequently, be on the phone for so long as this guy. I'm not paying him to talk on the phone! There are far too many good, conscientious, harder working electricians out there you can hire instead of this guy. You've been warned.

Big or small, Emmett is the man to call when you have an electrical project needing professional handling. I have been calling Emmett for all my electrical needs for many years now. He is on time, courteous, and friendly, and I like that he always explains what he is doing and why.

While replacing a living room light fixture in an old house I was living in, he noticed that the light switch was wired backwards, and (after asking me) fixed that too. He identified a couple other plugs and switches in the house that had been wired wrong, and was able to fix them really quickly for me.

I recommend Emmett to all my friends, and I highly recommend him to you.

Emmett is a master electrician who I completely trust with the most complex electrical situations. Every time someone talks about needing a guy, I chime in with this fellow, because of his professional demeanor and can-do attitude. He's also very realistic, fully explains everything and undercuts the competition with considerate flare. Prudent, resourceful and reliable are a few words that come to mind.

I can only base my review on the job Emmett did for my Mom, but I have no complaints, and will certainly use him again.

He is professional, courteous, prompt, and affordable.

We just needed a dimmer rewired in the kitchen, and although we are typically a DIY-type of family, electricity is something I tend to leave to the pros.

Emmett came by with very little notice, was considerate in letting us know that he was heading that way already (apparently electricians can charge for travel time?), and was in & out in minutes.
