Alex and his team are honest, professional, knowledgeable and do professional work. They are very responsive to their clients request and will tackle projects with a a ""can do"" and ""no problem"" attitude.
We had Eminent Electrical install a new service panel and new wiring throughout our house. The entire process was painless and passed inspection with ease. We are so pleased with the results we will definitely call Alex and his team for our next remodeling project.

Alex and team were right on, needed to run 240 to box. They were great with scheduling, price, and efficiency. Looking to call them back for more to do. They do what they say without jacking up the price.

Alex was great, came in on time and very professional. My 89 years' old mother was very happy with his service.

Alex and his staff at Eminent Electrical did a wonderful job renovating my condo back in November 2016. Friends and family visiting me are always amazed at how great everything turned out! This is my first home and my first fixer upper so of course the process was stressful. Alex was always responsive to my calls, emails and texts. He kept me in the loop on the process, answered my questions, and helped me make difficult, cost-effective decisions. He and his staff are kind and very knowledgeable. Everything turned out better than I imagined it would. I've still in awe about how great everything turned out! I highly recommend Eminent Electrical and Alex as general contractors and electricians!

Alex and his associate upgraded my main electrical panel. This project involved coordination with PG&E and my solar company to make sure everything was in the right place and at the right time, using the right materials - all at a competitive price. Alex worked with all the parties involved and ultimately it was a successful and relatively painless endeavor. One especially impressive feat was that he was able to arrange for digging/trenching of my front yard and was very meticulous in making sure that my landscaped garden had minimal disruption. Kudos for that. I will definitely call him again if I need additional electrical work, and perhaps call him for general contracting as well if the need arises.

Alex provided a quote for replacing an old electrical panel and bringing it up to code, in my new home and was very thorough in answering all of my follow up questions. We scheduled the work and he showed up right on time with one other person to help with the job.
They immediately got to work and worked through the afternoon to finish the project, patching all the holes as they went. They were very kind and left the house as clean as they found it, you never would have known they were there!
His pricing was the lowest of the multiple bids I received, for the most service (i.e. included patching walls and replacing outlets with GFCI outlets) and he was the most available in terms of scheduling the project.
Overall I am very pleased with the work Alex completed and would recommend him to anyone looking for an electrician in the area.
Thanks for making a stressful time a little less nerve wracking!

Eminent did a whole house rewire for us, removing the original knob and tube in my 50s rancher. Alex was very knowledgable about the process and his team completed the work in a timely and unobtrusive fashion. 5 stars!

Used Alex for a couple of jobs. From small (adding an outlet) to large (redoing all the electrical work in a house, panel and all) working with Alex was great. For the major work his bid wasn't the most expensive but it wasn't the cheapest. In the end I was extremely happy with the service, the folks doing the work, and the price I paid for it. I would, and have, use Alex again.

I did kitchen remodel with Alex. I found him through yelp and gave him a call for an estimate. He was prompt with providing us with initial quote and patient in terms of questions that we had on variety of topics. Now, with regard to kitchen remodel, our scope of the work was complete kitchen remodel i.e demolish existing kitchen and install new floor, cabinets, granite, appliances etc. He took couple of days to write the contract and came up with his official quote & gave us an estimated completion of 3 weeks. His contract itself was very detailed and made me very comfortable with the scope of work he was going to perform. Eventually, we decided to hire him for the kitchen project as he seemed to genuinely care about his customer and their needs. And, might I add his price was also the most affordable we could find on the market for a licensed guy.
Now, fast forward 3 weeks, I am happy to report that he delivered the whole project 3 days before his estimated schedule. His crew Jim and his helpers were excellent in terms of the work they have done. We are very happy with how our kitchen have turned out. Thanks to Alex and his crews especially Jim for paying attention to detail. Everything went smoothly except once when they found that my sink and the sink drainage was too deep and they had to redo the plumbing in order for them to hook up my sink. His crew was hesitant to do that but Alex came to the rescue and offered himself to go to hardware store to look for replacement sink drainage. When he couldn't find a matching drainage, he asked his guy to redo the plumbing which delayed our schedule by a day. But they even turned up on the weekend to complete the job. Next day my sink was hooked up and my kitchen was done. I am very happy with Alex and his crews and would recommend them for any remodeling you are considering at your place.

My lighting circuit for my living room blew out and I needed an electrician to fix it. At first I thought it was just a blown light switch, but after Alex came here it turned out to be more complex than that. He and his assistant came a second time and were here a few hours. At first they thought they would need to tear out the drywall to get access to a transformer in order to make the repairs (because of limited access from the attic), but this was avoided with some creative troubleshooting.
The strange thing is that the exact cause of the short is not clear, but my circuit breaker was tripping when the circuit was completed (after the switch was removed from the circuit)--so there clearly was a problem. I understand that this happens sometimes when someone is fiddling with a system and something is unknowingly changed that fixes the problem. But at least Alex was able to avoid a much messier and expensive path to get there. All the lights work now.
UPDATE
The exact same problem happened 10 months later (twice in the five years that I have lived here). The same switch burned out again, so the problem was not fixed. Therefore I am going to find someone else who can hopefully really fix it. I suspect this may be a more complex problem which is why I am not giving a lower star rating.
