Alex and his team did a great job on our remodel. I was initially using him as our electrician but he told us that he also provided remodeling services. After getting several quotes, we decided to move forward with Eminent to handle the whole project and we are very pleased with the results. We had a few surprise structural issues but they guided us past everything so we passed inspections and have a stronger home. If there were any changes we wanted to make, they were happy to make it until we were satisfied with the final product. I would highly recommend them for both electrical and remodeling projects.

Working with Alex to install our Level 2 EV charger, NEMA 14-50 sockets, and GFCI breakers was very easy. He was able to talk through our project and make suggestions due to our request to install not 1 but 2 sockets and a plug-in charger. His team was fast and efficient.

He also was able to help us with an additional small project to clean up some loose wiring elsewhere, so the garage looks so much better.

We had a rewire project for our house and Alex at Eminent Electrical did a fantastic job. We loved everything about the process, from the walk through to the job, to the follow ups throughout.

The work on the rewire was great, the team who managed the day to day were efficient and highly respectful of our space. Work was quoted as a 5 day project and they finished in roughly 3 days! We had several check-ins throughout, which helped address in the moment issues or just to let us know how things were going.

After this rewire project, I'll keep Eminent Electrical and Alex on hand for any electrical project we come across from now on. Expert work all around!

For the best, efficient, honest electrician, Mr. Alex Tong, serving the San Mateo area, is our choice. Eminent Electrical, owned by Alex Tong, is a first class, professional company that also does contractor projects, bathroom remodeling, kitchen upgrades, etc.
Alex replaced 4 circuit breaker switches that were obsolete and damaged and rechecked all the remaining switches and was quick, efficient and professional. I was given Alex's contact info from a friend who ensured me he did quality work. I was looking to have an outlet installed in a crawlspace for my sump pump.
I texted Alex and not only did Alex respond back right away but he was able to come out that same day! This was not only unexpected but also a huge relief especially considering we were anticipating some wet weather in the forecast.
Alex, Ming and Wang came over, accessed the work and got right to it. They were done in less than an hour!
I have already spoken with Alex about future projects (full panel relocation & upgrade as well as rewiring and lighting additions).

Alex and crew did an electrical upgrade on my older San Bruno home. Replaced a dangerous old Federal panel, 200A service upgrade, installed indoor sub panel. Replaced all knob and tube wiring with Romex. Brought electrical up to national electric code standards. Quote provided was fair and there were no surprises or up charges once work commenced. Ming and crew worked very long hours with minimal breaks to complete work quicker than promised. Outstanding job by the crew. Wouldn't hesitate to use Eminent electrical again.

Eminent Electrical-man comes to the rescue!

I've been using Eminent Electric for the past 3 years and Alex has always responded to my job requests with lightning speed, usually within a day. He's also been kind enough to answer various electrical questions I've had throughout the years.

Yesterday I texted Alex to see if he could move and patch a light switch and transition it into a dual rocker switch. Dynamic Duo Alex and sidekick Ho was able to skillfully finish the project in less than an hour and on the SAME day that I called! On top of that, they helped me change a dimmer switch back to a rocker switch.

Eminent Electric doesn't waste your time. They are very efficient, educated, easy to work with, energetic, ethical, established, and they are experts in the field. We are blessed to have them in the Bay Area.

I hired Alex from Eminent Electrical to upgrade my electrical panel from 100 to 200amp and also install Tesla wall connector. After almost a year of waiting for PGE to upgrade service wire, Alex coordinated inspections and installation on PGE scheduled time. Communication was fine, price was fair, and job was completed on time.
