Jack and Jon rock! This is the team to call. They relocated and Installed my back up generator after some serious danger and headaches created by so called generator companies, experts. LMFAO

Do yourself a favor start with Emergency Electric One! The do it all and a reasonable price especially since they do it right the first time. Now we use them anytime we need electrical work done!

Emergency Electric One was quick to respond to my request and were able to come out same day. The two workers were quick and efficient which was appreciated. However, I did not receive a receipt until the next day and I had to reach out a couple of times for that. Apparently they don't accept credit cards either so make sure you have cash or checks on hand.

It's a pleasure working with Jack and his father. When I first sent out a quote request, he picked up the phone and explained to me in details what he thinks is the best approach to my situation. He follows up, and reaches out unlike most others. His price is lower than most electricians. I've been shopping around so I know how much everyone charges. Great personality, skillful and very considerate. I'd give him A+++! I will contact him for my future electrical needs.

I had an odd request- installation of a digital photo frame (the Meural Canvas- it's super cool, google it!). The only crappy thing about this device is it's ugly wire and big transformer box... totally takes away from the intended effect and would have added some unwanted clutter to our main hallway. I sent a Yelp request out, and Jack and John (father and son, btw) quoted me a very reasonable estimate of their minimum service call plus parts.

When they got here, they assessed the situation and told me that what I'd requested would potentially involve risking the integrity of the beautiful wainscoting below (see pics). They looked around and came up with a better solution, cutting through the hallway wall and attaching the cord in the garage. This also involved only minimal parts cost.

They did a very neat job very quickly on the morning after my evening request, and insisted on cleaning up every last bit of dust caused by their tools. You can judge the end result for yourself in these pics. Would totally recommend Jack and John!

We've had massive rain in LA. My outdoor water pump overloaded the electrical circuit it was plugged into and blew out our electricity.

I called a ton of electricians. The rain was wrecking havoc on all kinds of electrical systems. I could not get anyone to come help me. Josh was on a site far away, but when he finished at the end of his day, he came to my house to help me. He immediately identified the problem and fixed it. The total bill was $150, and I was more than happy to pay it.

They could easily have said anything to me and I would have believed it. I don't know anything about electrical systems. Clearly they are honest. They explained everything to me. Josh works with his father, who is an old school pro who taught his son well.

I am more than delighted to write this review and pleased to recommend them.

I'm not the easiest customer. I'm picky and I don't like dealing with this kind of thing because so many in the ""fix it"" business are not honest or do shoddy work.

After requesting estimates from a handful of different electricians, Jack was the most responsive and helpful person I spoke to. He took the time to understand the problem I was having with my lighting and went out of his way to find parts, troubleshoot, and fix a problem that I thought may have been unrepairable. While they were there, they were nice enough to help me install a second lighting fixture that I couldn't have done by myself. The price, communication, scheduling, were all great... Beyond that, they were just good people to hang and talk with, it's awesome to meet people like Jack and his father. Wishing them continued success here in LA.

John and Jack are the father- son team to answer all your electrical problems! Long story short, I called/ messaged the business about my microwave and gas range power supply that has constantly been tripping on and off for about 3 weeks now. The last straw for me was when the gas range stopped working altogether. Jack answered right away and offered to come the same day. He pretty much diagnosed the problem while we were emailing each other. I can't have him come the same day so I set up an appointment for the following day in the morning. They came and resolved all issues in a very reasonable amount of time and amount. They're a pleasant team and I felt that they educated us about what to watch out for. Thank goodness my husband was around to hear all that so both of us are in the same page. My only regret now is that I didn't call them sooner, I could have saved myself a lot of misery! I highly recommend Emergency Electric One. I needed a Nest doorbell installation on a non-working doorbell. Their quote was very fair and they were quick to respond through Yelp messaging. Once they got here, the issue with our doorbell created a lot more work than anticipated. It was great to observe their problem solving skills and they ended up coming up with a brilliant solution that I was very happy with. In the end, I have a working Nest doorbell and they stuck to their original quote, no hidden fees! I will definitely use them again for future projects like tv mounting and home audio installation.

We needed an electrician for a last minute doorbell installation. We originally didn't even have a doorbell and needed the hard wiring and chime for the Nest Hello. They were very fast to respond with a reasonable quote and set up a time for the following day. They communicated with us every step of the way and got the job done fast.
