Horrible customer service. L answer their phones. You have to wait for callbacks that never come. And their technicians come out and just try to upsell you on things all the time. Then you put those things in and they fail. And then they try to upsell you and say there's a problem again.

Over 8 months ago they came to my house to fix my generator. Ther technician only took pictures of the generator. Never touched a tool. I see him in the truck and ak him what's up. He said that he couldn't find it on a search. He then made me pay $89 service charge. He did NOTHING. I called and complained and they said they refunded the money to a credit card. I paid with a check. Since then they don't return calls and have said they mailed me a check 3 times now and still nothing. The owner Seth even said he would take care of it. Still nothing. They have more blocked my phone number. My next move is calling BBB.

I wish I could give a zero star. I'm an administrator for an Assisted Living Facility in Port St. Lucie Florida. My story starts on June 29, 2023 when I had called a company called DON GREEN ELECTRIC for a quote on a permanent solution for a Generator for the facility. Instead of the facility having two portable generator that has to be started manually every month and run for 30 minutes. So when I meet with the technician from DON GREEN ELECTRIC on June 28, 2023 I was quote a total price of $17,490.70, with a deposit of $8,745.35. I thought that this would be a great deal, as I was quoted by a company from Home Depot for a permanent generator about $20,000.00. So I paid the down payment to the technician. Within that time my father had advised me to cancel the transaction, as he was able to find a more reasonable price. The technician happened to still be outside in the driveway and I called him back to cancel everything and refund me back the full deposit. He told me that since I used my card he could not cancel it. He will go into the office and ask the account person(named Carmen) to do so. But that was not the case, and it has been so far about 8months since I have been trying to get my money back. I tried getting an attorney tor help me but each one wanted to get paid to just seat down and talk about my case and to see if they would be interested in taking my case. Afterwards they will charge a large fee per hour for the service. So I decided to try to do it myself'. I went to DON GREEN ELECTRIC and got a recording explain I have my story of the manager named Nathan who said that he would take care of this, but never heard from him again. I went to the court in Fort Pierce and filled all the paper work. To much DON GREEN ELECTRIC never respond to any of filing to the court. So I finally granted a default final judgment from county judge Edmond Alonzo for the amount of $9,097.10. Still nothing from the DON GREEN ELECTRIC amount getting this payment back still this day. DON'T USE THEM, NOW THEY ARE GOING BY A NEW COMPANY NAME EMERALD HOME SERVICES.

So literally the worst company I've ever dealt with in my lifetime. They will NEVER return your calls and could care less about service with regards to finishing a botched repair job by them. New unit and all new ductwork ( not a cheap job )
So when the President doesn't return your calls and correspondence after 5 months of attempts that should be your sign. Caveat emptor ?. Prepare to be disappointed if you choose this company would be my assessment going forward... should be ashamed of their conduct.

They sold my elderly mom a job she didn't need in August of last year, she put a 50% deposit down of over $2600 which we quickly changed to having them perform only the work she needed. We were assured by Nathan that the charge wouldn't post....well that was a lie, then mom was told that hee refund was coming....also a lie. They continued to tell her the ""check was in the mail"" and other such nonsense and I got involved too late to dispute the charge. I have called REPEATEDLY to resolve only to get a variety of nonsense answers about why my mom hasn't gotten back the money that rightfully belongs to her. Do yourself a favor and use someone else.
I see I am not alone in having this issue so that should give everyone a clue about the integrity of this company. Maybe this will finally get me my call back after 2 months of regular repeated attempts.

The beginning of Oct 16, my fridge started acting up and would turn on and then go off. I called Don Green because they had a great review. The response was quick and the diagnosis is that it wasn't the electric, but the fridge. In all fairness, they did say my electric box needed to be replaced sometime soon in the future. I was charged $268.

I called a fridge repair company and they came out and said it was the fridge control panel and it would be $800 to replace, not including labor. The fridge was only 3 years old! They suggested I buy a new fridge instead, which I did.

When the new fridge came, they plugged it in, and it didn't work. They went to a different outlet and plugged it in. It worked. The problem was electrical after all! So, did I really need a new fridge? I don't think so, but it was too late. So, the new fridge was now plugged into the dining room.

I called Don Green back and the same tech came out. I was told I needed a new electrical panel and it would cost $2800 (or was it more, I don't remember as nothing was given to me in writing) and they would need $1400 down to schedule the work. I was given no contract or receipt.

The next business day, I called and canceled the work because it was too expensive and I found someone that was personally referred to me. I made 5 calls in October and 4 calls so far in November. Each time I was told my refund is being expedited. Yesterday, I was told a manager would call me within 24 hours. No one has. It's been over three weeks since I requested my refund.

Maybe this will get their attention!

Don Green Electric provided quality service at a reasonable price. Prior to arrival at our home, Travis coordinated the work to be done by Zac, Cameron and Ryan. The team worked well together, assembling scaffolding, taking down 2 ceiling fans and hanging a large chandelier from a 24 ceiling. My husband and I could not be happier with the work by Don Green Electric and we will recommend them highly to all family, friends and neighbors in need of good electricians! I seldomly use this app, but I have to say this time I had to- because it is such a cornucopia of sorts. It seems when it comes to ""who's fault is it"" - they will keep pointing fingers on first next in a circle. I would give zero -but that is not an option.
