We had another electrician wire for a machine that was coming in on a Monday morning. Well the cable ended up being 5"" too short and we had to have it fixed asap because the installer came from out of town.
Our electrician wouldn't answer his phone so we started calling around looking for an electrician. After calling 4 electricians and no answer Dale finally answered.
We told him our dilemma, he had an appointment coming up but said he could come take a look real quick. He came over right away, saw what we needed, took off to the cable place, brought back the cable, wired it and we were up and running!
I highly recommend Dale, very easy to work with, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

AMAZING SERVICE! Had our carpets cleaned today and they plugged their machines in our outlets. ThEY KILLED ALL THE POWER in our house. Called EMD Electrical and they showed up at 8:00 PM in Ladera Ranch to fix everything! They saved the day! He was prompt, clean, helpful and showed up with a smile. He reconnected all our power, internet, and everything that runs on power. Helped reset everything! He went above and beyond! Highly HIGHHHLLYYY recommended! DALE IS AMAZING!!!! Great Electrician!

Hey Yelpers! It has been a while but needed to write this review for my wife as we had a very positive experience with EMD Electrical to resolve a GEICO-esque issue where it really was so easy to fix, a caveman could have done it...tonight, that caveman was me.

Recently, the outlets in all our bathrooms weren't working. Being the caveman that I am, I had no clue what to do. So being the responsible wife that she is, my wife called around some local electricians in Irvine to see who could save the day. My wife called a few places and it was Dale (by the way, that's my brother's name...but this wasn't my brother) that saved the day. Basically, he told us that it was most likely the main GFI tripping and it just needed to be re-set. Not realizing what it was, she continued to inquire what needed to be done. Dale basically explained what needed to be done and it was as easy as pressing the button on the main GFI outlet in the garage. It was so easy to do that Dale insisted that he didn't need to come out to resolve the problem and that she just needed to find the outlet in the garage, press the reset button, and voila! it would be done...since my wife wasn't able to find it, this super simple task, which ended up becoming a honeydew task on a silver platter for me, was waiting for me when I got home. Of course, it was game night so I had to watch the LA Kings beat the Calgary Flames first before taking care of this minor issue or any other honeydew task. After the Kings squeaked out the 3-2 win, I went to the garage, found the outlet, press the magic button, and bam...power to our bathroom outlets were restored and I looked like Brad Pitt to my wife for a second or two...then reality set in and we just were happy that she now has power to use her essentials - blowdryer, flat iron, etc.

My wife had called other places where the phone ended up ringing forever or got a quote from a place that said they would have to charge us $139 to check it out. In other words, my wife owes me $139.

Thanks Dale and EMD Electrical! You made me look like a hero. I owe you $139!

Dale came to help us with an electrical emergency on a Saturday afternoon when no one else bothered to respond. We had a main breaker shut down and our fish tank was overflowing and the fish could have perished in a few hours. We are very grateful he came down and he helped us understand breakers and electrical sockets. Will definitely call again for help with our new house. Knowledgeable, quick to respond, and instructional. Thank you Dale!

Dale was accessible and showed up on time. He didn't get into signing contracts but instead focused on solving the problem. He figured out what the problem was and fixed it after looking at the panel and the jacks and switches in the circuit. He was pleasant and cheerful, and offered information along the way. His rate was very reasonable and I recommend him highly! Honesty is a valuable trait with a service professional.

Dale did a great job! We just moved in to our house and needed to install an outlet for a new range. Our old range was hardwired and we had no idea what to do. We decided to call Dale after reading reviews on Yelp. At the time of phone conversation, since we did not know ANYTHING about electricity, we were not able to answer his questions. He let us send a email, including a link to our new range and a picture of currant hardwired range, and did a research for us. Call back and came the next day and installed the proper outlet within an hour. He also gave us tips regarding other electricity stuffs.

We still have many things to be fixed but I'm glad that I know who to call now.

I had dale from EMD electrical come out and put in a few pot lights, He gave me a great price, was fast and efficient and was done left no mess to clean up and they look great in my house thanks Dale will be calling him in the future for all my electrical needs.

I had a problem with my GFCI outlets so I called 3 electrical companies with high reviews on yelp. Dale is the only one who actually picked up and he showed up on time. Very professional and even took the time to explain what was the problem. Price was reasonable too. Highly recommended.
