I recently contracted with Elliott Electric for a comparatively small job on a detached garage in the Galt/Herald area. This was the third time I have hired Elliott Electric in about a year and they are consistently outstanding.

Considering their excellent accessibility and communication with the customer, rigid adherence to their timely scheduling, fair pricing, knowledge, skill, strict safety practices, personable nature, respect for property, patience, helpful advice, and good humor, there is no reason to call anyone else.

What puts Elliott Electric over the top, however, is honor and honesty; qualities that are not learned habits, but are a way of life. Dan Elliott is a man of his word which, as far as I am concerned, is everything. As soon as you obtain a bid from Elliott Electric, everything will come together and you will know that they are the ones for your job. It will all make sense. It's as simple as that.

We had hired Dan and his team in May/June 2020. Brandon consulted us initially and explained the whole process: upgrade our panel, extend the wire to the barn (300ft+) and how SMUD and County involve etc.

Dan's communication was outstanding. Each time Country and/or SMUD involved, he was on top. He even waited for the county inspector at our property, so that I didn't have to assist.

Daniel and Ray were great workers and friendly.

Summary:
- Acculate quote (plus, Brandon gave us an option for us to hire our trench guys to save money. Country made extra trip due to misunderstanding. However, they convinced Country not to charge extra; they just could damp the charge on us but they didn't.)
- One-time, friendly, point of contact with SMUD and County, quality work
- Outstanding communication. (We hired many contractors last 3 years, but by far Dan Elliott is the best communicator.)

We will hire them in a heartbeat for our next project.

My experience with this company was excellent. They made it out to our property in about an hour after calling. Came in clutch as the wiring I messed up was for the AC disconnect on the first triple digit temp of the year. Wiring was aluminum which my dad and I didn't feel comfortable repairing. Ray and his coworker(didn't catch his name) were both very personable and professional. Would recommend to anyone 10/10.

I cannot say enough how terrific Dan and his entire team -- Brandon, Daniel and Ray -- are. They are prompt, efficient, knowledgeable, professional and kind. It was easy to communicate with Dan and set up an appointment for a consult. And once I had the information I needed, we proceeded with the work I needed done that same day. It was almost unbelievable how smoothly everything went. We originally were introduced to Elliott Electric two years ago through our contractor, when we had water damage to our home's kitchen, and it had to be gutted and redone entirely. Being an 80 year old home, we had some things that needed to be brought up to code, and Elliott Electric did an amazing job at getting everything re-wired and set up for the new appliances and lights in the kitchen. If I had a ""dumb question"", they explained things to me clearly. They never left a mess and were always calm and polite.

They were probably our favorite sub-contractor of the whole ""kitchen disaster"" project.

Recently, we started noticing some power flickers in the home. Once we had PG&E our to determine if it was on their end or ours, it was time to call an electrician. I knew immediately I needed to call Elliott Electric, because they were familiar with our home and I knew I could trust them.

They were able to come out at a time that was convenient for me, texted me to let me know when they were heading my way, and did a thorough job inspecting, then repairing & replacing the problem elements. Every step of the way, the electrician explained to me what he found, how he was fixing it, and then checked everything to make sure it was working properly.

However, the flickering returned later that same day. I called them (paranoid something was really wrong with the wiring) and they said they would come back. Fixed a time window and they arrived promptly. They checked out my concerns (loose outlet box, sparking light switch, flashing light fixture in our stairwell) and tried to get a questionable outlet to trip the breaker.

Everything was fixed (or they did trouble-shooting and figured out the cause), they explained what they did, and I feel safe in my home again. Neither time was I charged more than the fair cost of parts and labor.
