This company installed the electrical equipment for the developer. We bought the condo new. Naturally thought ""why not use the same contractor""
The unit was on the market to be sold and the buyer hired an inspector. The Inspector wrote a ""problem"" with the breaker panel in his report. I asked Elite to verify/correct the ""problem"". Tech came and spent 2 minutes and told me everything was fine and the Inspector was wrong. I asked the Tech to report that to his office and send me a written confirmation so I could close out the item. After several calls by me they said there was no record of the Tech visit. They finally found the Tech and once again promised the written mitigation. I have waited almost one month, made numerous phone calls, was promised resolution, call backs, etc. Nothing, no progress. Called today and asked for Service Mgr. I asked for the name and was told only ""Kim""...no last name. I have waited 30 minutes for the return call. Nothing.
I would not recommend this Contractor. Find someone else. There are many in the Bonita Springs, Naples area.

I used this company several years ago and it was fine (although they never followed up with an estimate that I requested and they promised to mail.) At that time they charged $119 for the first hour and $75 thereafter. Pretty typical.
I called the other day and things appear to have gone downhill. I asked for their rates. They still charged $119 for the first hour but now charged $150 thereafter. I couldn't believe that their prices had doubled and that they charged more for the second hour than the first. That is unheard of in my experience.
I asked how they billed after the first hour--every 15 minutes, every half hour what? The woman on the phone didn't have a clue so she went higher up. The next woman explained that how they charged after the first hour was ""totally up to the discretion of the service manager."" I again couldn't believe that I had heard right. So I asked ""don't you have a policy regarding how you charge if the job goes over the first hour by 5 minutes, 15 minutes, etc?"" Nope--totally up to the service manager.
I would suggest staying away from this outfit unless you like billing surprises at the end of a job.
I called another electrician who charges $95 per hour.
I'm giving these jokers two stars (as opposed to one) because they haven't done any work for me lately. The quality might be ok if you don't mind being grossly overcharged.
