Elite Electric: good people, great work, fair price. After reading other Yelp reviews, I contacted Chadwick and immediately felt he was knowledgeable and professional.

We rescheduled our original appointment, and frankly, I didn't mind because the time change was mutually beneficial. After many years of dealing with various contractors - including punctual ones that did crappy work - I've learned to simply follow my gut.

My instincts were on target, and I'm glad I chose Elite Electric. On July 7, 2011, Chadwick and his two-man team not only did the work I originally scheduled, but also completed last-minute requests. They spent over seven hours in my home, replacing and adding new plugs, phone and data lines.

I highly recommend Elite Electric and, without a doubt, I'll use their services again.

I wouldn't know if Elite Electric can give you a resonable quote or fix your busted wiring. Does it look like 9am to you? For those just joining here, it's 4:40 pm. Chadwick was supposed to be here between 9 and 10. It's always awesome when you tell your boss you'll be an hour or two late, only to waste and entire day waiting for someone who doesn't have the decency to tell you they won't make it.

To make matters worse, I did track him down at 12:30, while he was at lunch, and said he'd be out later. Which I took to mean, ya know, after lunch? And hey, I'm all about taking lunch. I frequently enjoy all the fabulous food Austin has to offer while escaping the drudgery that is my job. But maybe if you're flaking on your appointment, and you're somewhere that sounds like a bar, let it roll to voicemail. Bad customer service dude.

So now I guess I have to waste another day at home waiting for another inevitably flaky electrician. Score.

Chadwick was hired by our landlord to fix up some old school electrical nightmares on the outside of the house.

The guy was spot on, extremely courteous, and called before hand multiple times to discuss what he was going to do, and when he would do it. He wanted to make sure we were in good hands while the COA had to turn our electricity off for the day.

He was solid, and did a great job. He has now picked up a new client the next time we need electrical work.

ALWAYS MY FIRST AND LAST CALL!! I run a large dental practice and we have our fair share of options on who to call when work needs to be done or something needs repair. Our building and therefore our electrical system and wiring is antiquated. I've had to make numerous calls for quick 'keep my business operational' service requests to Chadwick over the past few years, and every time his service is prompt and honest with attention paid to detail and quality! I would highly recommend Chadwick and Elite Electric to all of my friends and family! - as a sidenote - I read another review that said they were possibly no longer in business - ABSOLUTELY FALSE because they helped me out of yet another electrical issue just last Thursday!

Chadwick was over to my house within a few hours of my initial call on a Saturday afternoon. We were creating a half wall and discovered some wires behind the sheet rock that needed to be rerouted. Chadwick was very professional, courteous and completed the job very quickly. His rates were reasonable as well. Highly recommend Chadwick and will not hesitate to call him again in the future for other jobs.

I called Chadwick on Tuesday and left a voice mail. I wanted two outside ceiling fans installed. Never got a return call so I called Fisher Electric on Thursday and got an immediate answer and appointment scheduled to install the fans. This guys web site is no good and he would not return my call.

I have used Chadwick in the past so elite electric was my 1st choice. After the last post I was worried that elite closed their doors but i am happy to say they are very much in business. I needed 3 fans and 4 ceiling lights installed and they came when they said and were courteous as usual. The lighting went up without a hitch but there were issues with 2 of the fans which we did not realize until after they were assembled and mounted. Since this means that he will have to disassemble the fans and install the new ones when they arrive, Chadwick said he would work with me on the price even though it wasn't his fault that the fans were shipped with issues. Will use again.

Finally, I don't feel like I'm being lied to by a home service professional! And he's on time!

Chadwick came out and did the walkthrough to talk to us about lengthening some wires so they would fit behind out new drywall in the kitchen as well as running a new electrical source for our new double oven. He made the appropriate suggestions and gave us a quote on the price. He may be a little more pricey than other electricians, but you pay for quality.

He sent his assistant to do the work and he did a great job, cleaned up after himself and when we had a question about something, he came right back out to make sure he had done a quality job.

I'll be calling them again soon to run another power line to our deep freeze in our garage.

Don't waste your time with other electricians.

Chadwick might not be the cheapest electrician in Austin, but do you really want cheap shithouse electrician work? I'd rather not have my house burn down.

I'm pretty sure over the course of the work he did for me I called him on weekends and evenings and he was always available to answer my questions. The customer service he provided was light-years ahead of any of the other contractors I worked with.

I have nothing but good things to say about him. He was honest and open about my options and exceeded my expectations of the finished work. He upgraded some of the infrastructure of the house I never asked him to, and it didn't cost me anything over the initial quote. I'm tempted to sabotage the electrical systems of my friends and neighbors just to give him more work.

Chadwick just left my house, and I want to write this review before I go tackle installing the second ceiling fan!

I gave him a call after seeing all the great Yelp reviews and I'm so glad I did. He was able to come over in 45 minutes, which was amazing, and even asked if his lovely standard poodle Winter could come along (of course!).

Now our ceiling fan works, our light switch doesn't spark, we know we have a secret second electrical panel, and I feel confident to properly wire the rest of the fans. Awesome!

He's friendly, professional, thorough, fairly priced, and has an awesome dog. We'll definitely call him back when it's time to remodel our kitchen! As a bonus he said we could call any time we have questions as we do any of our own electrical work.
