Made a yelp account to write this review and I don't like reviewing things but deciding to buy a unit from Elite Electric and Air might be the worst decision you can make financially for your home. My wife and I bought a $10,000 ac unit when our 20 yr old ac unit finally kicked the bucket the day before our wedding. We had friends staying with us and we had to act fast. We decided to go with Elite Electric and Air, a salesperson sold us on a $10,000 ac unit (haven't heard anyone buying one close to that cost btw) and it has caused us nothing but problems. Within 3 months of owning this brand new unit it had broken down on us 3 separate occasions and had to have Elite Electric & air come out and fix it. Thankfully they only charge you $119 each time to come out and fix the issue for a brand new machine.
We've now have had them come to our house 8 times and you guessed it! They never waived a $119 fee on a brand new machine that repeatedly breaks down. In fact their managers are never able to be spoken to and when you adamantly request to speak to someone you'll be told that they'll call you back. I was never called back after following up multiple times in the day seeing the status on that phone call that I knew I was going to never receive. I don't anticipate for the ac unit to be more trustworthy as time progresses and I look forward to multiple payments of $119 and to be inconvenienced a multitude of times a year with a lemon of a unit that cost 10k.
They don't stand by their product and their managers don't care. They currently are aware my family and I are without ac and know I've been asking to speak to a manager. Was told Ricky would call me, well I never heard from ol' Rick. This place will rip you off from the beginning and will continue to do so until your hand is forced into buying a new unit from a different company.

Stay a way from them !!! They offer you cheap tunups to sell a new expensive and low quality AC. When AC isnt working they say its your or your building falt and you need to have tuneups twice a year even your 10-20 year old AC needed it once a year. Of corse they can help you to purhase a memenership for 500$ and so on....

Wouldn't hire Elite Electric Plumbing and Air to do anything. Look at pictures of install where they put line set against the underside of the roof decking without the required protection. This caused line to be damaged by a roof nail when the new roof was installed. Even though Elite Electric, Plumbing & Air claims ""100% satisfaction guarantee"" AND to boot $595 was paid for 10 year labor extended warranty, it isn't worth the paper it is written on if Elite Electric, Plumbing & Air doesn't have the integrity to stand behind what they say with actions. Anthony ""the manager"" denied there is a code for the distance (see picture of Florida Residential Code) that demonstrates he is an idiot. Also call went into Jessics S ""business owner"" and still no call. Wouldn't do business with this company.

Elite Electric Plumbing and Air installed a new AC system that included a line set that came into attic through the eve from outside house. The line set was installed incorrectly with the line set up against the underside of the roof decking in the attic WITHOUT PROTECTION. Florida Residential Building Code Section M1411.7 Location and Protection of Refrigerant Piping states ""Refrigerant Piping installed within 1-1/2 inches of the underside of roof decking SHALL be protected from damage caused by nails and other fasteners. Customer is 87 years old and low income. A roof was being installed under a low income grant through My Safe Florida Home. The AC stopped cooling and customer called Elite Electric Plumbing and Air because customer paid an extra $595 (just under $10,000 install) for a 10 year extended parts and labor warranty. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air sent a technician out and a leak was found in attic where line had been improperly installed against the underside of the roof decking WITHOUT THE REQUIRED PROTECTION. Not only did the technician not fix the leak and replace the leaked freon, the technician tried to get 87 year old customer to sign a waiver and tried to get customer to agree to adding freon into the system without repairing the line for $895 and said would return in 10 days to do a repair. Customer refused knowing freon would leak out again. Then technician charged the low income senior $119 for the ""service call"". Customer requested a manager call (this was Friday) and manager did not call and 87 year old senior with a respiratory infection spent entire weekend in an 85 degree house. Elite Electric Plumbing and Air was called on weekend and given number to call on Monday morning. Monday morning still no call from the manager, so call was made to Andrew ""manager"" and he said that the repair would be $2175 plus freon. He denied that the code required any spacing and denied that the incorrect installation caused the needed repair. Would not do business with this slimy company EVER again and will tell everyone I know how this company tried to take advantage of this low income senior.

they were better a few years ago. They had good people i dont know what happened. anyway they are subpar

Our air conditioning went out. We had great service by their technician, Carlos, and it was fixed promptly. We are a member of their customer maintenance program which helps to keep the costs down. Great value for our dollar!

Don't let the ""We are always here for you"" and ""Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week"" nonsense on their website fool you. Called an emergency stating that I have my elderly mother in the home and they can't service until next day. If I hadn't already purchased their ""package deal"" and if the warranty wasn't through them, I would have gone elsewhere long ago. Also experienced times where I have called and no one answers. Would never recommend.

They Charged me $196.00 for 20 minutes of work. Originally charged me $316.00 but after I questioned the charge they repated me $119.00. I will never use them agian.

I absolutely love this company. I've been a customer since 2018 and wouldn't trade them for another. The prices are competitive and reasonable with the market and you get the job well done and to your satisfaction. I use them for my AC needs and never have to worry about maintenance as they do a bi-annual check. I have also used them for plumbing needs like a clogged sink and tub and I was charged for the visit since the service would have been less. Either way, got me out of a pickle. Lately I've been using them a lot for my electrical needs. Upgrading outlets and fans, ceiling lights installation and removal and light fixtures all around the house. I asked for several quotes and even though some were cheaper, I still chose this company because I have a guarantee that the job will not only get done, but if there is an issue they will come back and fix it. I can't thank Matt enough for his knowledge, expertise and customer service. I always ask for him for all my electrical needs and he never fails to impress!!! Truly recommend this man, he is a hard worker and earns his money!
