After having electrical work in our building completed by several companies, all highly rated on Yelp, we have concluded that Eleney Electric is the best fit for us.

Their electricians are masters at upgrading the electrical wiring, switches, outlets and panels in old San Francisco buildings like ours. They can get into tight attic spaces, and are geniuses when it comes to minimizing hole cutting of walls and ceilings to install new wiring and fixtures.

Their pricing is very reasonable, they work very fast, and they avoid doing any more work than necessary, helping us stay within our limited budget.

Fearghal is the best! He helped me fix some lighting - he first helped me figure out over text and a phone call what the solution should be, then made sure I ordered the right parts by sending me the Amazon links, then came over to install it all.

That wasn't all. On his way out, I mentioned that a part of a lamp in my apartment had come loose. He took a look and said he'd think about what a good solution was - this wasn't part of his job, but he just offered to think on my behalf. He then texted me to tell me he had a solution and came back FREE OF CHARGE. He brought a tool with him that fixed my lamp, and he said he was happy to help.

OMG, I thought he was amazing. He has a great talent for troubleshooting and explaining to someone who doesn't know anything about electrical work what is going on and what my various options are. He figured things out so fast (some which were so simple I could kick myself). Example, our motion sensor outside is not working because water leaked in it. Someone else had told me it's the wiring that was bad. I am very glad to have found him on yelp!

I needed a last minute electrician to install wiring in conjunction with concrete work (as our prior electrician bailed). Fearghal responded quickly and came by same day to check out the site and provide an estimate, then installed the panel next day. The concrete timing was unpredictable due to rain, but the second the ground was ready for the piping they came by to set up, so concrete could be poured the next morning. Everything went perfectly with no issues.
