Mike has taken care of me several times with my rental unit. He recently installed a ceiling fan for me that required a rewiring so that the fan would operate with the wall switch. He did a terrific job.

Power went out in our garage and office, and Mike was recommended by a neighbor, so I called him to get an estimate for repair. He came out the next day and fixed the office immediately, but the garage issue turned out to be corroded pipe and wiring, and a larger job than either of us had expected. Mike brought his team in over two days (including Sunday) and completed the work. Mike kept his word from the estimate to the final bill. I'm very happy with the work and would definitely recommend and use Mike's services again.

If I can give ZERO stars I would. He claims to be voted ""Winner"" of the Best of Los Angeles Award in 2020. After some research I fould it was simply a facebook community page not an actual ""thing."" We hired Mike (license# 859256) to install a ceiling fan and fix an outlet. He charged us $750. We wanted to wait because it seemed like a lot of money and it was a week before Christmas. He pressured us for the job, telling us he already bought materials, even though we were supplying the new outlet and the fan ourselves. Unfortunately we decided to let him do the work. He installed the fan, removed the old outlet and cut a 12"" x 12"" hole in a wall. He then said he would have to return and finish the work. That was almost SIX MONTHS ago. He has lied several times telling me he will come and finish the job and has not come through. Instead, he would just supply multiple excuses, about his sons going to rehab and other personal problems. He would text me that he will call me to set up a time to finish the job and would not follow through. I have text after text after text of him lying about finishing the job he started. I have explained to him I will be forced to sue him for the job he FAILED to complete and he did not seem to care. We are NOT the only ones. There are other complaints and reviews of him on other platforms as well for the same EXACT thing. This is his MO. If you want a professional electrician please avoid this conman at all cost.

I'd give zero stars if I could. Trust me. Any positive review here or on similar platforms is this guys friends or family.
Avoid at ALL costs. Excuse after excuse with a no show as well.
As other reviewer's of said he's got plenty of excuses in emergencies and reasons for not showing and then he finally claimed he did show and nobody was home four of my four tenants were all home and said no one had visited on said day.

Mike came to our property. He was extremely friendly and patient with our questions. His initial quote was also very reasonable, especially on the outlets. We neglected the negative reviews on Yelp and hired him, and this turned out to be a HUGE mistake. Mike installed some recessed lights and wiring before he asked for the first progress payment. At that point, no outlet has been installed. After receiving the payment, he stopped doing any work for weeks using different excuses. His true intention was forcing us to sign a contract with him to rewire the entire house, as he kept educating us on how expansive the materials and labors were. We said finish the current job in two weeks and we will consider rewiring the house with him. Mike disappeared and blocked my phone. We ended up with hiring another electrician, and it was a totally different experience. Work was done on time, including the rewiring at a much lower price.
If you want to spend thousands of dollars to leave holes in your property and lose several weeks of construction time, hire this guy.

WOW! Mike was given quite a task to set up the power for my swim spa. He went beyond the call of duty to make sure that everything was working and up to code. He even calls in to see that all is good. I am so happy with his services.

Mike Packham upgraded some breakers at my panel and ran new wire for my AC unit. He is very knowledgeable and works quickly. I would hire him again for any electrical needs I might have in the future. Bonus: He was nice and punctual!!

Don't ever call this guy. Five years ago he did the remodel of my downstairs electrical. To this day when I turn on the ceiling fan in my kitchen the TV turns off?? Then, two months ago I made the mistake of asking him back to put in a simple outlet and a Ring doorbell. The outlet is still hanging from the wall. He has promised to be here almost every day for over a month, and stood me up every time. Now I have to hire a competent electrician to come in to fix his shotty work. If I could give zero stars I would.

Mike and his son Tyler are very friendly and professional electricians. Top notch service at a competitive price!

Mike just installed three outlets in my condo. Two were in the kitchen where the previous owner's remodel of the kitchen failed to include outlets on either side of the oven. Mike and his son did a great job installing from start to finish their professionalism and work quality was top notch. In my bedroom, They installed a wall outlet for my wall-mounted television. Again, fantastic job.
If you're looking for an electrician who does a great job and has an outstanding demeanor, call Mike.
