I called Electric Quest for advise on a tankless water heater installation. Rich came out, prompt to his appointment - even a little earlier. We went over what I was going to purchase. He fgave me a great estimate (which was free) and I will be scheduling the work very soon. Rich was so pleasant, funny and knowledgeable.

I had a portable generator to hook up to a transfer switch and a wall receptacle. ElectricQuest answered my phone call immediately and came by the same day and give me a very fair estimate. The electrician, Larry, didn't try to sell me a job that he was hoping to retire from as a previous electrician.

Instead of running EMT over the back wall of my house he ran the line in a much more aesthetic way. That caused him to crawl around in my LOW attic to make the job look PERFECT.

As Larry was finishing up the work that was estimated I asked if he could do ""a few extra things"" while he was here. He went ahead and fixed other wiring issues where existing wiring was not up to code and ground wires that were unsightly. Larry spent at least an extra hour and didn't ask for a penny more than the very fair original estimate that did not include the ""few extra things"""".

I highly recommend ElectricQuest! So nice to see true professionals in an area where you have to scrutinize contractors. I will hire them again If I need any other work done.

June 26, 2019, I had written a good review for this company right after the work was ""done""..unfortunately after the electrician left we found that the work that we originally call them for was done improperly...we needed a separate GFCI line to our exhaust fans over the shower..(that is mandated by the ""codes"") the electrician that came looked at the job and determined that we had a dedicated line to the fans and all we needed was a GFCI breaker at the panel and that ""of course"" would be less cost....so we agreed to the price and the job, after the work was done and paid in full...later that evening we found the breaker was tripped and the lights in the adjacent bedroom and closet were off as well as the fans...so we called the company and the electrician who came this morning 6/27/2019 and after a thorough inspection and other suggestions to correct the problem and contacting his ""boss""..it was determined that in fact a ""new line"" was needed to be installed at an additional charge of $$$...we agreed and Electric Quest was to schedule the work...well Lord and behold the electrician called me an hour later to tell me that he had been placed on suspension (short of been fired) and that his boss told him to tell us to find another electrician...well if that is not the most UNPROFESSIONAL response from a ""so called licensed and insure company"" I don't know what is....obviously this company is not qualified to do any work on any remodeling or even new work..I am very upset with their performance and highly recommend that you all read the other detrimental comments about them....I failed to do so...I trusted their opinion as to what needed to be done.

After some research, recommendations and careful consideration I decided to try ElectricQuest. By far One of the best companies I have dealt with since relocating. After scheduling an appointment the previous day, Richard arrived promptly, gave an estimate and replaced the panel for our home and installed a new fan same day! He even Cleaned up after himself, if he even made a mess, I really couldn't tell. Im so happy to have a working fan again and it was All reasonably priced and such a friendly electrician. I would highly recommend this company. I am so happy with the work provided that I'm going to have the coolquest portion of the company service the ac as well! All in all I am So happy to have finally found a company with friendly office staff and knowledgeable service technicians that really seem to care about the customer!

I needed an electrician to fix a faulty circuit breaker. I call ElectricQuest in the afternoon, and received a next day appointment between 8am - 10am. The electrician, Larry, arrived around 8:10am, checked the breaker box and told me I needed a new breaker. He gave me a price, which after previous research, I knew to be fair, and he replaced the breaker. Larry was polite and patient with me explaining how it work to control my hot water heater. I was very pleased with ElectricQuest and will contact them again when I need electrical work.

I found the company to have excellent employees. The electrician who came out was named Woody explain what I needed and reported excellent amount of time. I highly recommend the company .

I could not be more disappointed with this company. After paying them $500, I was left with more problems than I started with. They came out on a Sunday afternoon (which I appreciated) and when they left, I had no electricity to my water pump and kitchen as well as the living room that was the original reason for calling them. They told me I needed a $4000 replacement for my breaker box, and took no responsibility for the problems they caused. They actually charged me extra money to repair what they broke! No estimate given here...just work done and charges given. I had another company come in and for under $600, my home is completely repaired and a problem caused by this company was found and fixed! They are under new ownership and any of the reviews I found on the internet were apparently made when the former owners had the company. Regardless, I feel ripped off and the manager, Jim, disregarded my concerns. I will never use this company again.
