We opened our doors in March 2004! Initially, I handled all the work myself, and with satisfied customers and a keen eye for detail, we expanded. Today, we have 7 service vans on the road, and our customer list keeps growing.

I have been in the electrical field for over 27 years. At the age of 36, I achieved my master electrician certification. During my career, I have seen how methods have evolved and the enhancements implemented to safeguard people and property with electricity. Your understanding of events are not accurate. You had no desire to make things right based on both experiences. Not only did they leave just exposed bulbs now the timing has not worked since they came. The lights are on during the day

The electrician was courteous and was thorough. In case anyone wants to really know how the pricing works at least for a situation similar to mine

$59 gets you 30 minutes of diagnostic
$149 (per hour)for extended diagnosing of problems
When all is said and done they had tier packages for their service
at least 5 of them ranging from ""band-aid"" and yes it was actually
labeled ""band aid"" in the tier list to platinum package. Costing $1000+ to $2000+. to which I said no thanks you can find a tradesman
for a fraction of the cost.

the one star is of course for the nice electrician not the company he works for.

UPDATE to review: After speaking with the project manager at ElectricMan I have to say that our concerns have been largely remedied. They were able to update our invoice total based on comparable estimates and were very eager to make sure we were happy with the service. Overall, I felt like the technician and the management were both very respectful and reasonable in their approach to service. It sounds like they want to ensure pricing is more fair moving forward, a commitment that will hopefully benefit other customers as well.

[my husband and i found Electricman on google where they seemed to have good reviews. i was very happy with the technician that came to the house and did the repair but was shocked to be charged $350 to replace 2 basic, 20 amp circuit breakers. The repair literally took 15 minutes. Similar to the folks below, i am disappointed in this price and wished we would have shopped around more as i have gotten estimates from others in the area for 125 total cost!! my husband is waiting for a call back from the company and i am hopeful this will be fixed].

I requested a quote for a bedroom ceiling fan to be replaced. The old one had been removed and the same size brace and box left in place. Not only do they not respond in a timely manner but this is the response/quote I got:
""Sight unseen, replace c-fan and install proper brace and box with you having the brace and box, $329"".
This is robbery and possible taking advantage cause I'm a woman!! I had 10 other responses from other businesses and ALL were $150 or less. makes you think what this business quotes other things.......

I have emailed and called the Electric man company for a quote on an upcoming project such fixing a chandelier, installing a fan to get a basic idea of what it would cost me, They have promised to respond back in 1 day and even after following up and waiting for 2 weeks have not received any quote or estimate. These guys cannot provide a simple quote in 2 weeks day and dont have basic courtesy to at least not keep the client waiting or letting them know if they are really busy so the client can search for other electric service providers. I really dont know how their actual workman ship would be if they cannot provide a simple quote. Hire them at your own risk .

Update review: I'm just now seeing the owner response to my review from 5 months ago. I had previously spoken to owner when this had happen who called and was apologetic but in seeing the response that conversation was not genuine and seems as though since I didn't change my review they went and added a storybook response to my review. The response on what happen are not correct either. I stand by my review on what happen.

Isaac & Raphael hooked me up!
I was giving Isaac a bit of grief about door-chime placement. (Ugly on interior wall) and he came up with an elegant work around that made NO holes in the drywall.
These guys are wonderful, experienced and so polite/friendly.

From 5stars to 2...

I used these guys for a second time recently and didn't have the best experience. I think the quality of work is good (at least that's what another electrician told me yesterday when he came to do some for me yesterday). Brian came out from ElectricMan both times as I requested him for the second job. On the second trip I found it odd and off putting that he started playing music and singing inside my house without any concern for someone being asleep or working or whatever. I shouldn't have to ask someone to respect my house when he's working in it.

When doing some work outside another technician complained of ""stepping in dog s#!t 3 times. There was dog s#!t everywhere"" and he kept saying the actual word and complaining about it in front of me. I looked and there was only mud from a recent rain, something I can't control.

While I don't expect the same level of professionalism from an electrician as I do from say a lawyer or physician, I do expect some degree of decent behavior and language in my house and in my presence.

So the work is fine but the other stuff is not and that has cost then my future business.

One additional update - I received a call from the owner with a sincere apology and a pledge to address these issues.
