This is the story of how the Electricians on Demand Inc. tried to rip me off for ~$1450. I recently placed a service call for electric repair to my home warranty company for my rental condo. The electrician who showed up to the condo, called me up and told me that the panel needs to be replaced and that the home warranty would not cover the cost so I should take his words for it and don't even bother going back to the home warranty. To make the matter worse, he also encouraged my tenant to lobby on his behalf. Right of the bat I knew the electrician was not being honest so I called back the home warranty and asked for a second opinion. The home warranty sent another electrician from SLMS Electrics and within 24 hours the panel was replaced. The entire cost was picked up by the home warranty and I only paid $120 out of pocket. Electricians on Demand Inc. is certainly not on your side so don't hire them. They will say and do anything to rip you off.
