Eddie was absolutely fantastic! In the span of 15 minutes, he helped us through the phone getting the electrical system assessed and fixed free of charge. He is definitely the best in SF for electrical emergencies! Thanks Eddie!!

I did a consultation with Eddie from Electrician SF today. He was very knowledgeable and we discussed the issue. At the end of the conversation, we agreed that the issue did not need immediate attention, but I will definitely use Eddie when the time comes to address it.
Thank you, Eddie.

After replacing a light switch in my bathroom I had switch the breakers back on to hear a loud pop. No more power in my entire apartment. I called Eddie and he was able to come to my place in the early evening in about an hour.
Eddie was friendly and was able to quickly troubleshoot the power issues to my house and figure out what I did wrong in my bathroom.
I would not hesitate to call Eddie again if I needed electrical help.

Eddie is awesome. My circuit breaker was broken late on a Sunday night and he came very quickly, promptly replaced it, and went above and beyond to explain the source of my problem. He's a smart and personable guy, and a pleasure to work with.

I'm writing this review partially because I think Eddie deserves a 5 star review and partially to balance out what I think is an unfair 1 star review here.
Listen, the guy runs an emergency electrician service! It's going to cost a little more than regular normal service. You don't complain about that PBR costs more at the corner store right across from your house as compared to the Safeway 10 blocks away. Maybe he's not the guy to fix a longstanding doorbell issue, but if you have a bonafide electrical emergency (and albeit those are kinda rare) then this is the guy to call.
Anyway, I had an emergent need for an electrician. Called my regular electrician, obviously since it is Labor Day weekend it goes to voice mail. Called a couple other electricians on Yelp.. no answer. Google ""Emergency electrician SF"", and Eddie's company comes up.
He picks up on the third ring, I talk with him about the problem (I was out of town so I had to describe everything on the phone). From talking with him it's obvious he knows what he's doing. I have dealt with a lot of subs being the GC on a large home remodel/renovation and the guy is thorough.
Eddie fixed my electrical issues the same day and the job was done right. Yes, I paid a little more than if I had scheduled with an electrician two weeks out and got it done and that hurts a little, but on the other hand I also got my problem competently solved on Labor Day weekend. I don't like paying $10 at the bar for a $2 beer either but that is how things work in the world.
I think Electrician SF is providing a needed service and if I have another electrical emergency I would not hesitate to call him again.

If you want rude customer service, call Eddie.
I contacted Eddie after seeing his name twice-listed (once for this company and again for ""A24 Electric and Solar"" - this should have been my red flag, as they are the same reviews on both websites. None of which are recent). His website for Electrician SF clearly states ""if you need an estimate on an electrical work, write us: .."" [then provides his email address].
I wrote to the address stating, and I quote, ""Was hoping to schedule a time for someone to come over and provide an estimate to repair my doorbell."" Eddie was great in that he was prompt in calling back [he called the following morning]. I was able to call him back the day after that. When we finally made contact I was met with rude and abrasive dialog. I'm sure he gets a lot of business as he had to do a quick review as to who I was and the purpose of his potential service(s). Once he made the connection he was quick to say that it would cost $295 for ""troubleshooting"" but may cost more depending on the materials and what needs repair. I asked him if that meant he comes out to look at the doorbell first as I was hoping to get an estimate before agreeing to his service (recall my email). He responds with, ""Look, I don't go out to look at things.. I fix them. Do you want your doorbell fixed or be looked at?"" **deer caught in headlights**
I couldn't believe I was being addressed in such a rude way - and for a simple and kindly-asked question!?? I was in such initial shock that I just said, ""Ok."" After which he continued to say something to the effect of if there's wiring issues or something major he wouldn't touch it without talking with me first. (so you're telling me you start a job, charge me $295 regardless if you actually fix it, and then maybe I end up spending thousands more b'c it ends up being a major wiring issue? Yeah, that's smart shopping).
Being a Social Worker, I understand pressure and being overwhelmed, but man, don't take it out on other ppl. That's just so unnecessary.
