His career in construction started in 1991 when he joined the Navy Seabees. Throughout his deployment, he traveled to over 15 countries, establishing himself as one of the sharpest electricians among his colleagues. After serving honorably and being discharged in 1997, Mr. Jones entered the electrical engineering program at Purdue University - Calumet. At Purdue, he earned two positions on the college basketball team as both point guard and shooting guard. In 1999, he was presented with a unique opportunity to join a photonic engineering program and moved to Dallas, Texas. During his final year, Mr. Jones chose to refocus on his trade as an Electrician.
