We recently bought a Tesla and needed our home electrical system to be redone. Prior to hiring Electrical Work Services (EWS), I had hired another licensed electrician who totally botched up the wiring (you get what you paid for). It was so bad that the wiring that was used would not work with the Tesla. This electrician actually apologized for his inability to get the work done correctly and I let him go.

I then received four other quotes. Luis from EWS had the best quote and I really felt comfortable with his recommendations on how to get everything in working order. Luis was professional, timely, and exceptionally well-skilled in turning around our electrical system from non-functional to superior.

We needed an outlet in our backyard to install our Wall mounted TV. Luis was responsive and came out the same day to provide us an estimate. We decided to go with Luis based on his customer service from the initial call to the estimate provided. He came the following day and installed our outlet without any hiccups. We had a circuit that suddenly went out on a Friday night. I checked yelp and contacted several businesses. Electrical Work Services was the only one opened on Saturday. His service call was less than the others as was his hourly rate. He took the call and came first thing on Saturday am. It was a complicated job as it wasn't any of the obvious issues. He stayed all day and never stopped going. The job went into the next day as well and required dry wall repair. He brought his own drywaller and the job was completed beautifully. They would have even painted the repaired drywall but I said that was okay I could take care of that. We were very happy with the job he did and his persistence in tracking down what it was and where it was. It turned out to be a broken neutral wire in the wall in a very odd place but he did find it. He is going into our contact list as our electrician. In fact, he is going to do something else for us as well. The total job was about $1100 but he worked all day Saturday and a partial day on Monday. But we were happy with the work. We felt he was very honest. Bet progressional. And he wore a mask... Covid-19 protection.

He provided two different quotes based on what we needed, we accepted one of the quotes and he came out that following Monday. He worked quickly but most importantly efficiently. I sent out a bid on Yelp on a Saturday morning, Luis was one of two business that contacted me back within 30 mins. Both have high Yelp ratings, but since Luis has been in the industry for 25 years, I went with him.

Before I hired him, I asked him for a quote and how long it would take. He had the best rate, and he said the work would be done within an hour.
He showed up exactly on time (on the dot) and did an excellent job within the time he quoted.

Luis is a very likeable guy, explained what was wrong and how he is going to fix the issue.
